Specialties
The Canine Training Center specializes in dog training for dogs and their owners. Creating a clear understanding of what we want our dogs to do isn’t difficult, once you learn how to communicate effectively with your best friend. We have helped create solutions for other dog owners: Better manners, basic to advanced obedience, controlling aggressive behaviors, behavior modification, building a stronger bond through our agility and nose work classes.
We offer a variety of training options that include: Board and Train, private lessons (on site and at your home), and a variety of group classes.
History
Established in 2007.
Andrew Wildesen is the head trainer and owner of The Canine Training Center (The CTC). After spending 10 years serving in the military as an instructor and evaluator, he made a life changing choice to follow after his dream of training dogs for service work, and working with owners to increase their understanding how their dogs think and learn.
Andrew attended a dog training school that is widely recognized around the world to be one the top schools for those who want to train dogs at the highest level. After completing his training, he immediately started The CTC, and hasn’t looked back since.
Andrew now works tirelessly to improve the overall bond between human and dog, by creating exceptional dog training programs. You will rarely catch him without a smile on his face, because he is doing exactly what he loves to do. Train dogs and teach people.
