Mr Tire Auto Service Centers

All I wanted was to get my tires balanced. No rotation, no brakes, no alignment. Picked up my car yesterday after trying to be sold new brakes and rotors that I don’t need. I called to confirm the balancing was done and they claimed they didn’t mess with the tire pressure. Today I’m driving and I realize the pressure on my two tires are 10+ psi too high. I called and they said the temperature could effect it. Stupid people it’s below freezing outside how is it supposed to go up 10+ psi. Can I just get some good service with personable people who don’t lie?

I used to go here all the time for oil changes then I noticed the price kept changing. When I questioned the manager he told me to leave. My guess is they got tired of changing oil for the coupon rate. Oh well, I will never go back for anything.

I rarely leave a review, but I have to leave this to help others. I bring a coupon with free flat tire repair and they said they have to charge $ 30 for another problem. I paid and the tire was still leaking in two weeks. I went there second time and the said now it was ok and let me go in one hour. It was leaking again and they said they have to charge me another $ 30 for another nail problem and will not honor the free flat tire repair coupon. These didn’t include two other visits for waiting and making appointments.
I will not go there anymore and tell any of my friends about it.

Stopped by with no appointment and asked to see if they could patch a tire. The guy said he couldnt because it was too close to the sidewall of the tire, which was fine as I had been to 4 other shops in the area and they told me all the same thing. So I asked if they had anything in stock to replace it. The guy at the counter said they only a directional Yokohama tire in stock but could order something cheaper if I wanted but would have to wait.
I couldn’t wait since the tire was not maintaining a stable air pressure and the alarm in my car would keep going off. So I agreed to replace it with whatever they had.
Only had to wait 30 minutes. Was in and out super fast. The waiting area though is PATHETIC. Flat out shitty but thank god I was only there for a few.
The price included everything of mounting balancing etc… At first I was kind of weary about the price but after looking online even at the cheaper tires… it would’ve came out about the same (after shipping, mounting, balancing, disposal, etc.) so I’m content with the price.

I read through a couple of the reviews before posting this. Not sure why the hell anyone would come here for an oil change, alignment, or anything other than TIRES.

Today, I just went in to Mr. Tire in Ellicott city, next to Cehckers to get my alignment done. I was heading back home after drop off my car but the guy from the shop called, telling me he has to charge $ 199, not $ 99, because it is «Audi!». Does Alignment costs any parts? More labor because it is Audi? Charging $ 100 more???
Then how come Midas across the street is charging $ 89 for Audi??? May be they are more trained and know what they are doing with cars? That scam may work for those don’t know anything about mechanism but, you are talking to the wrong person!!!
Don’t let these mechanics to fool you!

I use the shop in Ellicott City, MD, next to Checkers. I’ve always had good, friendly service there. Old tires off, new tires on. No muss, no fuss. I’ve never used them for significant car repairs, so I can’t comment on that. This is my go-​to shop for tires.

This company is absolutely worthless they had my car for 7 hours and I called to check up on the progress and they didn’t even know my car was there. Then they fed me some story that the tire distributer just got there and my car would be done two hours later. I would never suggest anyone to take there car to this company.

Terrible, lack of experience, and ZERO knowledge.
I called to make an appoint for oil change and one of sales associate tells me he can’t put in the regular oil in my 2006 Honda Civic Si because the fact that I had used synthetic oil before. He kept on refusing and said that it could hurt the engine if i change back and forth. WHICH IS TOTALLY FALSE. With that kind of poor knowledge they should close down the shop. I would not trust them leaving my car there if they don’t even know the basics of engine oil.

I only came here for an oil and filter change and tire rotation, but the service was good as expected. I tried to make an appointment so I could wait there instead of dropping it off, but unfortunately they were pretty booked all weekend, but the guy over the phone recommended that I drop it off so they could service it whenever they could.
I got to the place and initially they claimed that it would have to stay there all weekend for them to get to it, but after some negotiation they agreed to have it done by the end of Saturday, which was fine since I didn’t have anything planned this weekend. The next morning around 8:30AM they called and said it was ready. I thought that was pretty great since they said they were so busy, and I did check my dip stick to make sure they had indeed changed the oil. All in all a fairly smooth transaction, although the service guys could be a little friendlier, but hey, they got the job done and in good time.
This review would have been a 4.5 stars if there was an option for that.

I had a terrible experience here. I came in to get my front brakes changed on my 2004 Accord, very routine, nothing was broken. I get a call that some of the other parts needed to be changed, which I agreed to. The entire thing cost me about $ 700 – 800.
I go to pick up my car, and lo and behold, not a mile down the road, and the ABS light comes on in the dash. I was in a rush so I waited till the next business day to go in and ask about it. The guys at Mr. Tire flat out denied having anything to do with it and said they couldn’t even take a look at it until a week later because the mechanic who knew about ABS was on vacation. I mean, what the hell?! So, a week later, I drop the car off and the next day, they tell me they don’t know what’s wrong with it, and that we were better off sending it to the Honda dealership. Honda diagnosed the problem and billed us $ 400.
They refused to pay for any of the additional repair costs even though it clearly had something to do with them and their shoddy work. I mean, seriously: I go to get brakes fixed, and then, the next day, the Anti-​lock Brake System electronics break. Now, I don’t have functional ABS on my right front tire, and with all this rain, who knows if I might need it! This is a safety issue!
Terrible, I’ll never go back!

Kudos to Ken & Kevin. Cheerful, informative, precision performance. Reasonable price (alignment). Got the tech to come out and explain an issue when I had a question. Would go back.
