Lalas was awesome! We walked in just after their closing time and they still served us. A 10pm closing time is awesome for quiet old EC that shuts down at 6. The malt shakes were great! Definitely worth saving room for desert at Lalas. It was such a great treat. The ladies of Lalas were awesome and friendly. Some of the people in our party wanted just candy toppings without ice cream and they accommodated this odd request. And the prices were very fair.

Yes, this is a small little place, but the service is nice, it’s a local owned shop which people keep moaning there are too few of, the selection of ice cream is fine, mission of the shop is simple; good service and sell ice cream. They do very well at that.

We bought a Groupon and were extremely disappointed. The young lady working here could not have been any sweeter but that’s where the highlights end. There were about 8 kinds of Hershey’s Ice
Cream (not even the best selection) and jars of Smuckers toppings for Sundaes. It felt like a glorified kids lemonade stand operation.
