C V Autoworks

Today we were pulling a large living quarters horse trailer with a full load of horses when just west of Ellensburg we got a flat on our truck. Using my AAA Membership CV Auto was sent out to help us. Within 30 minutes of making the call we were back on the road. Unbelievably fast and the man that changed our tire was so kind and professional. I will be giving AAA a call to tell them how quick and excellent CV was.

What can I say that hasn’t been said already? I too experienced the same kindness and great customer service and repair. My car was towed to CV in Ellensburg. AAA has two recommended shops in Ellensburg and I randomly chose this one. I am glad I did. It is not that the other would not have also been great, but they could only be as great; as CV Auto was top notch in every way. These guys moved a vehicle that they were working on to accommodate the repair of mine. They quickly got to work. It was not much of a wait before the car was drivable and I was able to head over the mountains back to the Seattle area. They recommended that I replace the piece that needed repair, but they assured me that the car was totally fine to drive. They were right. Fine human beings and they know what they are doing with a car. Thanks so much!

Our daughter had to be towed from near Snoqualmie Pass to Ellensburg, where she goes to school. At first we thought it was a dead battery, but even when a new battery was installed it couldn’t be started. My husband and I even drove there to try and troubleshoot, but no dice. That was on a Saturday. On Monday morning we called AAA and had the car towed to C V Autoworks and Scott and his team worked diligently until they found the problem. Again, at first it seemed like a simple solution — loose cable and a blown fuse — but the fuse kept blowing. They tracked the problem down, and at a reasonable price. I was so relieved — especially since now we have a «go-​to» mechanic for her car in Ellensburg!

I had some great things happen yesterday after an accidental car accident involving my wife and snow (no injuries). Luckily for us, thanks to great neighbors and great people at CV autoworks, the car was saved and with only a few scratches. Thanks CV autoworks.

CV Autoworks is the best place around. After being stuck on the side of the road for 2 and a half hours at the base of Snoqualmie Pass on a Sunday, I had my car towed to Reliable Auto in Cle Elum. After finally getting home, I checked the reviews for various auto repair shops here on Unilocal.After hearing about the bad reviews not only on Unilocal but word of mouth about reliable, I had decided to call reliable to have them release my keys to CV so they could tow it to their shop in Ellensburg. (Reliable didnt even realize my car had been dropped off there.) On Tuesday, since reliable was closed on monday, CV’s tow truck came and picked up my car and by that Thursday, my car was up and running. Long story short, I HIGHLY reccomend Scott and his team at CV Autoworks for anything car related. They are friendly, cheap and quick! You can’t beat that!

Our car broke down on HWY 26, and we could not be happier that AAA took it to C V Autoworks. We left it there on a Sunday night and checked into a hotel. When we called the shop at 8:00am they had already diagnosed the problem and we were able to get home later that day. There is no doubt that if we lived near Ellensburg, C V Autoworks would be the only place we would take our cars for maintenance and repairs. Thanks to everyone at C V Autoworks!

These guys are great. I was laid up with cooling troubles the night before, and called early in the morning from the top of Snoqualmie Pass to see if they could sneak me in. Not only did they see me, Scott and John got me in and out quickly, diagnosed my issue, and sent me on my way feeling confident in both my radiator and the future of humanity.

Scott and his staff are friendly, customer-​oriented and competent. The automotive diagnostic and repair they completed on my vehicle was high-​quality work — and most certainly affordable! There were multiple challenges with the vehicle before I took it into CV Autoworks and absolutely none afterwards. A repair shop I would recommend highly to others!

My wife and I were driving to Seattle from Pullman, but our 2002 Honda Civic decided it wanted to break down at the Ryegrass Rest Area just west of Vantage. AAA recommended we tow the car to CV Autoworks. By the time we got the car to the shop, it was almost 7 pm and it was closed for the day. But Scott, the owner, had told me over the phone that he wanted to get us back on the road as soon as possible. My wife and I stayed at a hotel in Ellensburg overnight, with a checkout time of 11 am the next day.
At 8 am the following morning, Scott started work on our car. By 11:00, he had finished replacing the alternator. He even picked us up at the hotel!
It’s good to know there’s honest, hard-​working people who will go the extra mile for their customers. Thanks, Scott!

My daughter is going to CWU and had some problems with her 2006 Volvo. After the alternator replacement we had a problem that may (or may not) have been related to the original fix. No arguments. No hassle. Scott took great care of us. I wish these guys were closer to home so I could take all of my rigs there.

My daughter is at school and her car breaks down — we called AAA and they sent out C V Autoworks. They were able to fix her car quickly saving us a trip to Ellensburg.

We had a radiator hose break and had to be towed. The guys here fixed us right up within the hour. They were fast friendly and great guys. So grateful they got us back on the road.

Rear tie rod failed on my toyota camry. Any mechanic I tried was closed on a Saturday, so I was going to be towed back to the Seattle area. The tow truck driver shows up and offers to take my car to C V Autoworks where he knows the owner who is willing to take a look. The owner takes a look, makes a few calls looking for the part and comes up empty. Then he tells me that he could do a quick weld job and get me back on the road. I agree and literally 5 minutes later, the car is back on the road at no charge. I hope I’m never stranded like that again, but if I am, C V Autoworks is where I’ll go. No question.

I am so grateful for this company, and would recommend them to anyone. I needed my car in the shop and fixed on the same day. Unfortunately, all the shops were booked except for C V Autoworks. I had a problem with my starter, but when they checked it out, it was working. They were very honest, and would not do anything to fix it (they didn’t want to scam us). Later next week, my starter stopped working. I had exceptional service with them. They really helped me out with price and fixing it. Thanks guys for being honest and sincere. You are the best in town.
