Tilted Canvas provides guided painting sessions for all age groups (6+) and skill levels. We host open invite paint parties located at several local restaurants.

For private parties, we bring the painting event to you or we can arrange an

appropriate venue for your event. This is a fun and memorable activity for your guests.

No painting experience is necessary. All art supplies are provided including canvas, paintbrushes, paint, easels, and aprons. Come an join us for an event!

History

Established in 2015.

Tilted Canvas opened in Elkton, MD and is expanding to the Delaware Shores and Ocean City, MD. We offer our unique painting events to the public at local restaurants, art festivals and other venues. Tilted Canvas also offers the option to hold private parties. We bring the painting supplies to you! The artist/​instructors at Tilted Canvas are passionate about painting and art. We love to share the creativity and techniques to help our guests complete a painting they can be proud of.

Meet the Business Owner

Janie T.

Business Owner

Janie is the Artist/​Instructor/​Owner at Tilted Canvas. Janie holds a B.F.A. in Illustration/​Painting from the University of Delaware. After working a few years in marketing, she enrolled in the M.A. program at Pratt Institute for Communication Design. After discovering that she did not enjoy living in the city, she returned home and enrolled in the Multimedia & Web Design program at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. For 13 years Janie successfully worked as a web developer and graphic designer. Painting and art has always been a passion for her and this business highlights the talents, education and experiences she has developed. «Tilted Canvas is a business that allows me to connect with people in the community and share a positive and memorable art experience.»
