Windsor at Pine Ridge

Place isn’t bad. Its gotten worse since we first moved in, but maitenance is quick with work orders and it’s a decent place overall. Its hard to find pet friendly apartments with washer and dryer in the unit
However, if you are military and get orsers and need to move out early, they will try to charge you «military concessions», which is against frederal laws. We had to talk to legal to get it straightened out. Now they are trying to get that money from «damages», after saying during the inspection that the place was in really good shape when we moved out. Very shady stuff going on in the office of this complex.

Current tenant since March 2015. I would give them 5 stars but I haven’t been here in winter with snow and all associated issues so I can’t speak for them on that. I read a ton of reviews before selecting this apartment. Other apartments had issues with: bug infestations, rowdy tenants, thin walls, SLOWER than SLOW maintenance, crappy office personnel, workers busting into apartments to do repairs using office keys and not even checking if someone is home or not, horror of horrors I read that one woman was coming out of her shower to find a man in her living room, doing some kind of regular maintenance! Other issues included vandalism in parking lots, insufficient parking lots, groups of men or teens loitering and making life hell for the tenants.
Naturally I was terrified of ending up in one of these places. But we went with Windsor because of a great deal and moved into a 3 b/​r 2 bath apt on the 3^rd floor. I have to say, it is AWESOME! There is no noise from the hall, someone comes and cleans in the stair well areas regularly, you can see the maintenance staff on their toes ALL day, cleaning the lawns, working hard. I’ve had issues with a couple of things but they came within that same day and took care of it! LOVE you guys!
The ladies are so friendly and polite, no stuck up snobs or surly old cows like at other places we looked at. The pool is super clean, and never packed, the fitness room is kept very clean. Just wish the fitness room was a little bigger or had another treadmill. There are only 2 treadmills and one elliptical.
Tenants generally pick up their dog poop. Poop bag stations are kept filled always, and dumpsters are picked up so frequently. I rarely see stuff outside the dumpsters. I can’t speak for other buildings where I see large amounts of small unsupervised black children, but in my building, it is quiet and no issues. Yes, I said black children, there are a ton of them here, only few of them have adult supervision. But for as many kids as there are, I don’t have any problems.
One negative experience with the demographics imbalance here was when I was at the stop sign leaving the complex, and I had to sit there for several minutes waiting for the road to clear. There was a group of 5 black men/​teens standing on the corner, saying vulgarities to me (I had the window down, but picked it up when I heard them), making rude comments, and generally living up to their stereotype. This was two days after the Baltimore riots. What a bunch of jerks. But other than than that, life is good here!

Ive lived here for 3 years. The service here, I would rate at a B. They are pretty responsive on issues, keep things very clean and lawn maintenance is good. The winter snow removal was bad, but they try hard to keep bad tenants out, and trouble makers out. Beautiful pool area, good workout room available 24 hours. They have fun little meet and greets. I know I got a great deal on rent, and comparable cost to much worse apartments in the Laurel area.
