We get takeout from here almost every week. Our favorites are the chicken tikka masala, pizza, gyro, and shrimp curry!

From their garlic naan to subs to Chicken Tikka Masala, you can’t really go wrong with anything on their menu. They serve very flavorful Indian food. I used to come here a few times a year back in the days, but I am not around Elkridge anymore, so I just don’t have much opportunity to visit. I highly recommend this cuisine if you are near Elkridge.

Pizza joints are probably my favorite restaurants. I honestly get everything other than pizza when I go, though. The pizza isn’t the greatest, but it’s definitely something I’d order for when I’m having a group of people over. My favorite part about this place is that it’s both a pizza joint AND Indian cuisine spot! Where else can I get a cheese steak with some naan! Or how about chicken tikka masala with a side of mozz sticks? My favorite dish to get, which I get almost weekly, is the crispy chicken wrap with blue cheese instead of ranch and add Buffalo Sauce. Prices are also very reasonable. An order of chicken tikka masala is about $ 13? Most other places around here it’s at least around $ 17. Bigger portions than most places, too.

Ordered delivery from their often for lunch(every other day). Usual order is grilled shrimp salad with canned coke. Today I decide to go in and meet the people I do business with… big diaappointment. It seems like when you find out Santa is just some middle aged bum who needed rent money… poor customer service. They got my order wrong and did not provide adequate discourse to rectify. Best advice don’t go in for pickup. As for me, I’ll be getting my lunch elsewhere.

Usually order food via grubhub. Biryanis are my personal favorites from this place. Order it almost every week. They have never disappointed me with respect to keeping up delivery time or the quality of taste.

If you have never been to gateway save yourself the trip and inconvenience! I’m so pissed I ordered a fish sub it has 1 patty so I just took the one side and put it on the other which left me with ½ a sub. I ordered a orange soda but instead they sent a caffeine free peach soda from food lion Ruined my whole lunch. First and last order from gateway

Delivery 20 minutes late, fries were cold and soggy, mozzarella sticks were cold in middle and gummy, boneless wings were over cooked and the soda wasn’t cold… But on a positive note, the celery sticks were fresh! I am not sure how they have such a high rating, because this is not 4 ½ star cuisine at all. I threw my food away.

Order here twice once for pick up and the second time delivery. The first time we tried out some of the Indian food. We got the chicken saag and the Chana saag. Neither were particularly good. The chicken saag was better than the Chana saag. The portions are a good size and the price was great. The second time we ordered the chicken gyro and the grilled chicken sub. The chicken gyro was not good at all. It was covered in mayo. The grilled chicken sub was ok at best. This places is nice because they deliver and the price is good, but the food is ok at best.

I ended up working late one evening and needed something delivered to the office. Fortunately, this was the only option that wasn’t JUST pizza or Chinese. And Indian food sounded perfect. I ordered the Baingan Bharta(my usual at all Indian spots) and this is probably one of the best I have had in the area. It isn’t as mushy here. In fact, I could actually recognize large chunks of the eggplant and it was so fresh and tasty. I could drink it all up. I asked for mild, and it wasn’t spicy at all, so next time I would probably go with medium because I do like some spice to it. It comes with rice and the rice is perfectly cooked. The dish was about $ 12. Reasonable especially for the large portion I received — and it being delivery. I also had the samosa which was good, two small ones come in one order and it was only $ 3! So worth it, had more than enough leftovers for the next day with everything that I ordered! My co-worker had the Chana Saag. I tasted it and wasn’t a fan. It was really bland and buttery. I couldn’t taste anything but butter(probably ghee). My co-worker didn’t seem to like it either. She requested mild as well, no spice at all too. I’ve been told by other colleagues that they also have excellent pizza and sandwiches. While I’d like to try their other stuff, I have a feeling the Baingan Bharta will be my go to! Delivery took about an hour on a late(9:00pm –10:00pm) Tuesday night. Definitely would order again!

Waited 90 minutes for my food to arrive. The fries were cold, not even luke warm, and they forgot all three drinks I ordered. Not happy.

So initially as a person who only eats halal meat and is Indian I was excited to give this place a try. When I called the number to place an order the woman answered as if it was a house phone by saying«hello» then I stated may I place an order she said sure, I was very confused. I placed an order for delivery for 10 wings, fries and 1 medium pizza for the price of $ 17 last night at 7:10pm. I waited until 8:23pm to call and tell them that my order has not yet arrived, the woman answered and said hello instead of the business name. My door bell rang at 8:27pm, my order arrived. The delivery man didn’t have me sign anything and just handed me my items and left. The wings and fries were good but nobody enjoyed the pizza. The pizza was very dry and barely had sauce, I felt terrible because my friends and I were celebrating my friend’s graduation but unfortunately she felt the pizza was disgusting so we had to eat other alternatives. I am very disappointed in the quality of taste, service, time management, and unprofessionalism. This place has great potential but unfortunately I will think twice before ever ordering from here again.

3.5 stars. This is my go-to place for Indian food delivery. We always get one of the two curries: chicken korma and chicken vindaloo, an order of garlic naan, and pizza. I forgot what pizza I got last time but it was extremely cheesy though it’s not necessarily a bad thing. There are times where they’ve gotten the order wrong and the curry comes in a bowl of separated oil, but I still order from them.

Great place for Indian food delivery. I generally get the Chicken Tikka Masala or Butter Chicken, but have tried some of their other Indian dishes and enjoyed them as well. I also order the samosas and naan, which is perfect to dip in the masala. Spice level: I generally order medium as it has a kick, but nothing crazy. Delivery: Food comes delivered hot and generally takes 25 – 40 minutes, which is far less than the estimated 45 – 60 minutes. Portion: Can get 2 meals out of it each entrée as there is a good amount of chicken and accompanying rice. Gateway’s Indian is significantly better than their pizza.

Just realized today that I haven’t written a review for my all time favorite, not so obvious, Indian restaurant! I am both embarrassed and ashamed it took me so long. I don’t crave chocolate or pizza, but I crave this place. What I’ve had so far… Indian pizza– pretty good and tastes clean. Wings– wings are wings what can I say. *Chicken Tikka Marsala– Boyfriends fav. Always gets it medium. Any spicier and he’ll start breathing fire. *Chicken Saag– My fav. I order medium spicy also. I’m asian, not crazy. Chicken Vindaloo– This is what I order when I don’t want anything creamy. Really good and spicy! I love the big chunks of potato too. My friend orders it extra spicy… and to quote Adventure Time«So spice, SOSPICE!» Momo– I was recently introduced to momo and it’s delicious! Garlic Naan– omg. just so good. I used to think this place was a little pricey, but honestly if you order delivery they give you big portions! I always order an extra portion of rice(rice is super yummy too). Trust me you’ll be eating this for days. Sometimes for breakfast… if you’re like me breakfast and lunch. Try their Indian food if you haven’t already! It’s AMAZEBALLS!!!

Nothing exciting, but at least not terrible. The pizza itself is better than the 100% grease chains, appetizers are not recommended. Haven’t tried the subs or Indian

I order Indian food from this place every week or two and they are always on point with the quality of the food. Though I have never visited the restaurant in person, the delivery service is fantastic. I highly recommend the chicken curry and mattar paneer as main dishes, as well as the vegetable samosas and naan as side orders. Another couple of perks with this place is that they offer free delivery and are usually pretty accurate with their orders(I’ve only had one small mix-up since I started ordering from them). Furthermore, the level of spiciness of their entrees is generally accurate so that all dishes can be enjoyed regardless of your tolerance for spices. Overall, I highly recommend Gateway, at least for delivery.

Halal chicken on my pizza? Don’t mind if I do. Truthfully that’s all I have ever had here, the halal bbq chicken pizza, the tandoori chicken pizza, and the buffalo chicken pizza. Each was outstanding.

Gateway is an interesting beast. They offer the following things: pizza, subs, burgers, fried chicken, hot wings, mozzarella sticks and… Indian food. Um, what? Anyway, given the«wide variety» of their menu, I did not have high hopes for my order but hey — when you’re stranded in Columbia it’s this or a walk to Bob Evans, so… Anyway, those hoping for some sort of pizza-indian fusion will be disappointed as I did not see any paneer pizzas or pepperoni curries on the menu. I can’t speak for the non-Indian items, but what I had was legit. Samosas: better than average filling in these. I could really taste(and see) the spices used. Would order again. Garlic naan: okay. I think they may have fired up the pizza oven for these so they weren’t great. Chana Masala: ordered«spicy» and received mouth-searingly hot chickpea curry. I like. Lots of good flavor here besides the heat and the portion was huge — easily enough for two people. The included rice was actually really good too — I had to pick a couple of cardamom pods out so they aren’t skimping on the spices. Delivery: Delivered right at the time promised, but without any plates or utensils. That kind of pisses me off because I specifically requested them to be included on my order. Overall: really good, flavorful Indian food. Great value for the price as the portion I received was very large. I’m a fan of their concept too — I’m guessing they solve a lot of marital arguments about what to order for dinner by offering pretty much, well, everything.

Had read previous reviews and came by this place when I had time to stop and have lunch. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and when given the choice of «mild, medium, or hot» went with the hot to eat there. The young woman that took my order at the counter was right about two things — the ‘hot’ is HOT… but in a OMG glorious way… and it would be too much for me to eat so she would prepare in a takeout bowl. My order was ready in approximately ten minutes. During that time I saw two customers come in to pick up orders, and two guys going out with deliveries. The first two bites were a bit overwhelmingly ‘tomato-ey’ but then the heat set in. In the most wonderful yummy way ever. I was torn between just going for the gold or having leftovers the next day. The leftovers were awesome.
