Dave and Ray do all the computer fixing at JEM. They’re really great guys to have and TRUST doing the work.
The only unfortunate thing is their manager doesn’t return calls if something flopped. I paid a lot of money for work to be done but was never notified what went wrong and how long I’d be delayed.
So, 30 days later, still have a defunct computer with more problems than prior to giving it to them.
I believe what happened to me was an isolated incident and doesn’t reflect their boss’s way of handling customers. Dave and Ray are considered «parts replacers» rather than actually fixing what’s wrong.
Overall experience? I’ve had work done by them before and they are good. There’s not a lot of honest people that will not tell you the real cost of fixing things. Their customer service is pretty good from over the years they’ve contributed to the community.
