Clean, air conditioned, and has headsets available for use. I will update about availability of materials on my next visit. I will frequent this location, as it was quiet enough to do my work, while I listened to my music. Beautiful and safe area.

My library for the last sixteen years. They can get you any book from anywhere in Montco. Great web site, easy search. Book sales are great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Yay Elkins Park Free Library.

Old school. I’ve been going there since I was a kid. Second biggest next to Abington Library in the area. Librarians are helpful and it is a pleasant environment. This library seriously needs to be updated. It still looks the same since at least the 80s.
With budget cuts, the library is closed a lot at night and weekends. Sad.
The best thing about E.P. library is there monthly book sale. People donate so often, that there are always new things to look at. Plus, it’s like Black Friday. People line up in the cold and run to grab as many books as possible. Watch out for the creeps who have the scanners to check for resale value. Not cool to block aisles or build stacks of books 20 deep. Some of us actually like to read them.
