In addition Martial arts training is being increasingly recommended as an outlet for children who would otherwise be labeled as ‘Unruly’,‘Difficult’, or ‘Overactive’

History
Established in 1969.
The Elkhorn Flying Dragons were Originaly known as the Lake Geneva Flying Dragons, and was founded in 1969. Masters Bob and Audrey Perk took over operations February of 1995, and the The Flying Dragons has been a family-owned business ever since, with the help of their son, Nick.
In March of 2002, the Perks moved the Lake Geneva Flying Dragons to their present location in Elkhorn, WI. As a result of this move, the name changed to Elkhorn Flying Dragons. The newElkhorn Martial Arts Center is a 4200 square foot facility, and was purpose built for the Flying Dragons. As a result, It is THE premier facility in the area. with a fully suspended work out floor, high ceilings, bright lighting, and an obstruction free span.
Over the years, the school and it’s staff have collected many awards. The most gratifying came in 2004 when the Perks’ school was named «School of the Year» by the American Kyuki-Do Federation.

Over the years the Perks have been recognized for their accomplishments in the martial arts.
In 1995 the whole family received Presidential Sports Awards for Martial Arts.
Master Audrey Perk has been twice been recognized as American Kyuki-Do Federation Black Belt Woman of the Year in ’91 and in ’01. In 1999, she was recognized as an Outstanding Tournament Judge.
In 2003, Master Bob Perk was recognized as an Outstanding Tournament Referee. He is also a Certified Verbal Judo instructor
In 2010 the Perks became the first husband and wife team in the American Kyuki-Do Federation to earn the rank of Master together.
Both Masters Perk are currently licensed Juvenile Martial Arts Instructors in the state of Wisconsin.
