We specialize in menswear tailoring and clothing alterations of all kinds. Any garment can be made smaller or shorter and many can be made larger. This includes all kinds of pants and jeans, business apparel, formals and active sportswear. The workmanship should always look as nice and the same as it did from the factory.

History

Established in 1987.

Russell’s Alteration Shop opened in Elkhart, In., in 1987. Mrs. Russell was trained to do clothing alterations at a Federated Department Store alteration workroom in Dallas, Texas. She completed all levels of training and was promoted to alterations tailor in 1979. She has also completed a 2-​year apprenticeship with a master reweaver. In addition to reweaving, many sweaters can by repaired by reknitting.
