History

Established in 2007.

Ray of Light was formed by Kris Laidlaw in February 2007. We began with a single therapist and one treatment room. In 2009, as the demand for services continued to grow exponentially, we teamed up with Dibley Chiropractic Center and expanded into a 1600 square foot facility with 4 treatment rooms. We currently have one Acupuncturist, two yoga teachers, and 4 massage therapists on staff. We have served over 2,000 clients in the 5 years of business and continue to grow and expand!

Business Owner

Kris Laidlaw was born and raised in Elkhart, IN. She obtained her Bachelors of Science majoring in Psychology from Ball State University in 1999. Kris knew that she was destined for more than just counseling and decided to attend massage therapy school in Fort Wayne, IN. Graduating in 2001, she began her career in a salon setting. After several years, Kris decided to explore her degree in psychology at Youth Development Institute in AZ. After nearly 4 years, a significant personal healing experience, and a vision from the Divine, she chose to serve her fellow humans in her hometown of Elkhart, IN. With nearly 13 years experience in the massage industry, Kris truly enjoys witnessing the clients make subtle and powerful shifts in body/​mind/​spirit on a daily basis. «I feel honored that people continue to invite me into their healing process, I can’t imagine doing any other ‘job’ in the world. I wake up every day excited to see what that day holds».
