Dunlap C B’s

Their used radios can easily out perform new factory radios.
This is one of the last two remaining C.B. radio repair shops in Northern Indiana.
When the Fort Wayne truck stop closed its C.B. shop this was one of the two that they recommended to me.
The first was Boone’s in Columbia city, the second closest was this place.
When you buy a radio from this place. It can be aligned (adjusting all components) to within ideal specifications. Add high quality antenna wire. The correct antenna for the different radios manufactured. This is what you can’t get from a Wal-​Mart. Performance from your radio.
After the antenna is installed on your vehicle. It can be adjusted with a digital meter. This will add years of life to your radio. Preventing a failure.
About fifteen years ago, I bought a used 1970’s C.B. for about $ 20.00 I could easily get about fifteen miles distance of it. After I had the above done, I could get out to about 20 miles.
When I drive across country with my van. I only use it to warn drivers about speed traps (radar). Since I have use a radar detector. It makes a good addition to my G.P.S. unit.
One of the other uses for it might be for anyone who goes camping. The way I can tell someone who knows anything about going off road. Is that they might have a C.B. But they will carry an axe. (In case a tree falls down over the road).
