Jerry’s of Elk River

History

Established in 1973.

Jerry Minor, along with his wife Thiry started the business out of their home garage in January 1973. Jerry has been an manufacturing engineer for 10 years but his main interests were people and cars. The business grew and they purchased a building on Railroad Drive next to the lumber yard in Elk River in August 1973. The business continued to grow and in 1976 moved to the present location on Highway 10. Today, Eric Newlin their son-​in-​law is General Manager. Jerry and Eric feel the biggest challenge is finding the right vehicle. They take a personal interest in every vehicle they purchase and sell. They have a advantage over larger dealerships by not having to sell a certain «brand». With the internet today people come from hundreds of miles away for the right vehicle. About 75% of the business each month are customers that have purchased vehicles previously. Jerry and Eric are extremely great full for these repeat customers and the new ones they encounter every day!
