Top Rail was the only fence company out of the Unilocal top three in Sacramento that returned my call and showed up promptly to give me an estimate. They also returned on time to do the work and did a fantastic job on the back fence. People who have seen it and know their stuff said it is a fence that is built to last. They also came back and did our front post-​and-​rail fence and did a nice job but seemed kind of rushed. The top board is already cracking. Nevertheless I think overall this company was very good and head and shoulders above Borg fence, which did or prior house and had to be called back to make things right all the while demanding payment.

Jeff and his crew replaced my RV driveway gate and did an outstanding job. They arrived when they said they would, went right to work taking the old gate down and put up a very sturdy gate. I’m very happy I selected them to do this job and wouldn’t hesitate in hiring them again.

Had Jeff and crew out twice. Once to replace the back fence and back today for a side fence. Great service at each touch point from contacting them for the estimate through completion of the work. Great quality of both materials and workmanship along with competitive pricing. I’ll certainly have them back for the remaining side fence when the time comes.

This company has worked two jobs for me. Repaired sagging sections of my fence. Replaced my gate and end section of my fence. They were very timely and professional and kind. They were very cost effective and estimates were free. They do excellent work and were quick. They cleaned up and you never knew they had been there. Except for the beautiful work. Thank you.

these guys are awesome great price. nice people. great work. if you need a fence (ihad wrought iron and wooden fence replaced. they came and 2 and ahalf days later i had a fence. they do great work cleaned everthing up nice. everyone admires my 12 foot sliding gate. call these folks they are honest and hardworking will give you a low price but high quality. work cant go wrong i will be calling them to do additional work. thanks L. I needed a three rail fence with no-​climb around my 2 acre property and a privacy fence with a sliding gate for vehicle access. Top rail came out and gave me an estimate on the spot and we scheduled right away. They arrived on time and had a crew of about 6 and it took them three days. They started and stayed on the job till it was done. (Very reassuring rather than doing 5 jobs at once!) They did excellent work! The fence is straight, sturdy and high quality. They gate is heavy duty and will last for years to come. Everything turned out just as they said it would. I would highly recommend Top Rail for all your fencing needs!

My husband called 5 fence companies. the only one who called back was Jeff from Top Rail. He came out when he said he would and gave us an estimate. When we scheduled the job, he showed up on time with his crew. Our vinyl fence was installed perfectly and the job site was left perfectly clean. Price was great. Jeff was recommended to us from a friend who was very happy with his work and we have referred him to others. I would not hesitate to have Top Rail do another fence for us and if fact, we wouldn’t even call anyone else. Can’t say enough about how professional Jeff and his crew were and how pleased we are with the work and their excellent customer service.

Wow! Read the Unilocal reviews and called these guys. They are no-​nonsense, get the job done, hard working professionals. My 88 foot across backyard fence needed replacing and these guys came in and in about 4.5 hours, I had a beautiful new fence. The fence is really private, so neighbors can’t peek through. The materials are solid and top quality. If you want the job done right, call Top Rail — they won’t disappoint.

This is the third time we have had Top Rail Fence out for our fence replacement. Jeff, Tim, and Joe showed up on time and did an excellent job of replacing our last fence section that we needed replaced.
The guys are very methodical in their operation and you will not be disappointed. There are numerous fence installers/​repair companies out there, but I cannot recommend anyone but Top Rail Fence Co.
We were very pleased with the work, the demeanor of the workers, and the customer service. If you need a fence replaced or repaired, give them a call.

Wish I could recommend them. We were planning on having a fence replaced last summer, and were hiring Top Rail, but some unforeseen circumstances arose near-​last-​minute that we had to postpone the job. This spring, we were ready again to have the fence done, so we contacted Top Rail to request another estimate, and an appointment was set. No call, no show.

Customer service in my opinion was excellent. We searched a few other options before I found Top Rail Fence company by chance one day driving through my neighbor hood. I stopped and chatted a few moments with one of the crew, got a business card. I had waited a month or so before I scheduled a no charge hassle free consultation. Scheduled work, despite a few hiccups on my end, they came out and completed my fence in one day. In and out. Professional, clean, prompt, up front and proficient. No problems, got what we paid for.
