I’m sorry but I came here with a friend about a week or two ago and I didn’t really care for it. The customer service is really nice and the drinks are ok. Standard tasting milk teas and the snacks too. But I could not get over how dirty it was inside. All the couches looked so dirt stained and like picked up off the street. And there was so many fruit flies flying around inside. Also we sat at a table which had an extra chair but it was a weird beat up computer chair… and the fan was right under the spot light so we were getting a strobe light effect which was not nice on the eyes. Ugghh! Best I can say I won’t be coming back.

The best boba place if you’re just looking to relax with your friends. The environment is so cozy and welcoming and the sweetest older lady came out to hand me my snacks! Decent drinks, great customer service

An amazing hidden little place. As soon as you enter, you’ll notice with the couches, coffee tables, TV, and games welcome a really social environment. You’re free to hang out as long as you like and the employees are really nice. Their products make the experience even better: most of the milk teas, snow bubbles, and icies are splendid. They have a variety of drinks from bitter to sweet, but one of my personal favorites is the mango icy with rainbow jelly(very sweet)! Among their food items, the chicken is definitely king. Plus, the calamari and fries are amazing options too! Just beware that the chicken and calamari are fairly spicy. Overall a wonderful place to hang out with friends or do some work at a table when it’s not too busy. Pro tip: you can mix different flavors together to make your own creation! It’s a gamble, but it can be well worth it– just choose carefully!

Elk Grove has plenty of Boba Tea all over. I have come to this place before. Friendly workers and great at making recommendations. Large seating area. I like their pudding milk tea bobas… sounds good right? Also their Taro boba is good too!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Delish!!! I came in here for just a thai tea with boba and left with so much more !!! They have Pot stickers and LUMPIA!!! Amazing! They cook them right when you order then, none of that pre cooked stuff! The man who rang me up and helped me was super helpful and was quick with my drink! I witnessed another man order a drink, pay for it and pick it up, he somehow popped open the drink and spilled it everywhere! LOL He got mad at himself and I am sure wasn’t expecting a FREE drink since he did it to himself! However the gentlemen who made the drink told him not to worry about it, CLEANEDTHEMESS and gave him a free drink! AWESOMECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! My husband went in yesterday and got two teas for us, and cheesecake! So yummy and fresh!

Place is really wide and clean! Friendly staff! Only thing about this place that bothers me is the location because it is easy to miss for first timers.

How could I have missed this place which was so close to home? In all fairness, it’s kind of hard to see the store front from the street. Just look for the sign in the plaza and it’s right next to the post office. We had the late night munchies and got some popcorn chicken, stuffed shrimp, and fried shumai. I asked for no spice on any of them because I’m a complete wuss. The popcorn chicken was okay, mostly small pieces of chicken. The batter and seasoning were very salty. Needed ranch and sweet and sour sauce to cut through the saltiness. The stuffed shrimp were WAY too spicy. I think it was the breading because once I took it off, I was able to eat the shrimp inside. The shumai was pretty unremarkable. Reminded me of the shumai you can buy at Trader Joe’s. The place was pretty empty for a rainy weekday evening. Stopped by a couple of days later for some almond milk tea and got a pandan waffle. I’ve heard past reviews say that it wasn’t that good, but I freaking loved it. I have been dying to go back ever since. In the afternoons, it’s packed with kids hanging out. It’s not a big place, but there was enough room for the kids and the constant stream of customers. The place resembles someone’s living room with big comfy couches and some tables. I could totally see why the kids love hanging out here.

I wanted to try a locally owned place with my boys so we went here before heading to Target to look at video games. It was our first time and this place is a little tricky to find since it’s in a hallway and you can’t see it from the street. If they didn’t have a sign on the front of the building, I wouldn’t have know about it. We ordered 3 drinks and a pandan waffle. The girl behind the counter was friendly. My kids got icy with jelly and neither one of them liked their drinks. They weren’t super«kid friendly tasting». I probably should have asked what kids like to order there. I got the pineapple snow bubble with mango and I liked my drink. This was my first time trying pandan waffle and parts of it were burnt. It was ok but based on this experience, I would never order one again. It wasn’t worth the money to have a small waffle with burnt pieces. My kids liked playing the board games that they offered but that’s not enough to bring us back especially with the plethora of tea places nearby.

This place changed their names a few times, but still the same menu-ish. They actually added more food items! I really like the black milk here, but sometimes it’s too sweet. I don’t like the additional charge if you use your card instead of cash… but I guess that’s how milk tea places function. I always get the super spicy pot stickers here! It is bombdotcom! The pot stickers are huge and flavorful. If you like spicy fried food, I would recommend getting pot stickers, but be careful… they will put your mouth on fireeeee! They don’t play with their peppers! Their popcorn chicken and calamari are good also! I tried their Thai tea and it was okayyyy. wouldn’t recommend that drink.

My sister has been a long time customer to this boba shop. She normally gets a large thai tea and occasionally will add egg pudding. She swears by this tea house. Since moving to the West Coast I must say that my boyfriend and I have become regular customers to Tapioca and Tea. I have tried other boba places, but truly enjoy the taste and selection here. My drinks of choice are the jasmine green tea sweetened with lychee jelly, jasmine milk tea with boba, thai tea with egg pudding, and green apple tea with lychee jelly/green apple jelly. You really cannot go wrong here! They also serve appetizers/finger foods, be sure to try: fish balls, pandan waffle, scallops, or the chicken(Note: Beware of the seasoning spice!)

From their amazing drink selection to their mouth watering snacks, this is my go to place in all of Sacramento when I’m craving a Avacado shake or fried scallops extra spicy! The location is kind of weird, but it truly is a hidden gem. Park behind hometown buffet for easy parking. The building itself is quite welcoming, with wonderful fluffy couches, chairs and loveseats. There are TVs usually going with sports, food channel or whatever else is trending that day. They also have an arcade area for people to smash faces on street fighter or w.e. Great place to do school work with plenty of seating and plugs for laptops and devices. Best of all is their customer service. Never had a bad experience. They always go out of their way for you and to me that makes them stand out from the rest. Customer service — 10⁄10 Food and drinks 9⁄10 Parking and location 5⁄10 Try their fried popcorn chicken! Go mild or no heat if you’re sensitive to spice.

Boba always seem to be old and hard, even in the morning – makes me wonder if they just use the night before’s match. Tea tastes fine themselves, I usually get red bean with boba. Popcorn chicken is pretty dry, though. Other places do it better for sure. The service is really nice though – usually pretty fast and accommodating. Great study spot, with a few good tables with outlets. Overall not a bad place but I’m more likely to come here to study than to just pick up some drinks or food.

I got a coffee milk tea and I was glad to hear that they use a non-dairy creamer in order to make the drink. The sweetness level was good, not too sweet and not too bland, but I can’t say much about the consistency because that was my first time here. What I like most about this place is that they actually communicated with the customers in order to give us what we want. My friend ordered a mint mocha here and the barista graciously asked her to taste the first drink and see if it was a good balance of mint and sweetness. She then adjusted accordingly when my friend didn’t like the drink. Sure it looks a little rookie but at least they’re trying! I’ll probably come back here again whenever I go to Make Fish.

Love this place! I always get the large Thai tea with lychee jelly my kid loves it! It is to die for this is my go to place for myself my two year old toddler and three teenagers my sister being one and two cousins all three in high school. This place isn’t what it use to be. I use to adore this place tucked away near the post office and target shopping center… Heres the low down: Pros: location. Enough tables, nice and friendly service. Decent selection of drinks. Cons: Milk teas are way too sweet. Their idea of less sweet would mean adding more green tea which makes it not only less sweet(good) but also less milky(bad!)= not what i want. Personally, milk tea is a staple, if the milk tea doesn’t cut it for me, nothing else will suffice. I know they’ve change owners in the last several years… Sigh. Guess i have to start driving further for my milk tea fix.

What a hidden gem! This bubble tea shop is in the same plaza with Nathan’s Chinese Cuisine and the kabob restaurant. The atmosphere was lounge-y and such a great place to meet with some friends for a chat or even to study. There’s video game machines and many tables and chairs. I don’t know why I have never stopped by here before. I got the boba milk tea and it tasted great! Just the right ratio of milk, tea, and sweetness. Their bobas had a nice subtle sweetness to them and perfectly chewy. I had a lot of fun just chewing on the bobas! The boyfriend got a green apple snow which he really enjoyed as well. It had the right amount of sweet and sour with the perfect consistency. The staff was very friendly. Our cashier had a great sense of humor! Awesome mom n’ pop’s shop with great tasting drinks and fun/friendly & relaxed environment.

I’ve heard a few good things about this place. It’s just so far away from me that I’ve never had the chance to try it. Since I was willing to drive all the way to Elk Grove, I said I might as well try this place out. I was in dire need of a pandan waffle. I get there and I’m clearly confused at how to enter the parking lot. Haha So I parked on Hometown Buffet’s back end and walked over. First impression, very cutesy and modern. They have an old game machine towards the register that looked like it wasn’t working. I ordered 3 large Thai teas with boba and a pandan waffle. From pictures, their pandan waffles looked pretty big. When I got it, not so big. Thai teas were on point! It was good Thai tea. The pandan waffle tasted a little salty for me. =\ Not too sure if they even put salt in it, but it tasted salty to me. I still can’t find a pandan waffle that compares to the bay area’s in Sacramento. I haven’t tried any of their other snacks, but they sound pretty tasty! If I come back, it’s definitely for their Thai tea.
