I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sparkling Iris! She is friendly, professional, super talented at makeup AND hair, and just a pleasure to be around. I was interested in potentially using her services for my wedding day, and she was very easy to schedule a trial with, even though my wedding was more than a year away. Prior to my appointment, she had me send her photos of makeup and hair ideas I was thinking about, and she did an amazing job recreating exactly the look I was hoping for. She is very VERY attentive to detail and a true perfectionist. I’ve never met someone who contours like she can — you can tell she has practiced her skills to perfection.
Finally, you can’t beat her prices. She is affordable (even on my graduate student budget!), and her work is comparable to the best and most expensive makeup artists I’ve worked with in the past.

Sara is the creator of Sparkling Iris, and she’s amazing at make up and hair! I love how she examines facial features and see what’s best for my face shape. She’s very precise and careful which is a very good skill as a make up artist!
