Placed a special cake order well in advance and confirmed multiple times with bakery manager Anitra. When I came to pick it up, she informed me that she had forgotten to make my cake! Rather than apologizing, she had a nasty attitude and did not once claim responsibility for her unprofessional behavior. DONOT order from this bakery, unless you want your special occasion ruined!!!

Would give a negative. Waited while 2 ppl in the back saw us but didn’t want to stop what they were doing to assist us. So while we waited and stared at the lady bagging French breads she actually drops one on the floor and picks it up and puts it straight in the bag. While we were watching. Yuck not for me. We left. No manager to be seen to report. Seeing that made me decide to take my business else where.

The team members are friendly, however they have no urgency when checking you out, and they are always very understaffed during high volume times of day. I don’t care to share the reasons why I’m purchasing every item in my cart. I want you to hurry, so I can get back to work !

This is my absolute favorite store, and I am so glad it is less than 2 miles from my home. The clerks are very pleasant and helpful.

Came in today in the early morning to pick up some apple fritters. Prior to coming in, I called and spoke to the rude-sounding bakery employee. She said that all donuts are fresh and warm, although upon arrival the fritters were frozen cold. It wasn’t good either, for the second fritter.. I put it in the microwave to warm up for a bit. Yeah, that wasn’t quite the main problem, the overall taste was repugnant. . Never again, rather pay a full $ 1.50+ at a donut shop.

Don’t ever order a sandwich from the deli section. The girl who made my sandwich is super dirty. If I remember her name correctly her name is Danielle or Daniela. Tall, dark, young woman who was cleaning the counters then without washing her hands went straight to put on gloves to make my sandwich. What is the point of wearing gloves if her dirty hands already touched the outside of the gloves? Then after she put my sandwich in the microwave/toaster, she decided to tidy up a bit by throwing some trash into the garbage and pushing down the contents into its bin with her same gloved hands! After she pushed down the garbage and its contents without changing gloves or washing her hands she took my sandwich out of the toaster and continued to make my sandwich. Disgusting.

Still like the checkers, however the wine tasting has gone way downhill. They raised the prices, and barely give you one sip. I get it, its tasting, but jeez, on top of their lowered standards, the woman that pours(Paula?) is very rude and condescending. But she has no problem pouring full glasses for her friends, or constantly being on her cell phone…

The staff are always helpful, the site is super clean and inviting. The wait times in the lines are never more than a few minutes. The deli food is perfect for a quick bite and there is always a good selection. The bakery has fresh donuts in the morning and their cakes are amazing.

This store had a makeover since I last visited. The wine section is huge and very spread out. The store remind me of Nugget. They are stocked with all different kinds of sodas including Mexican. That was a perk, but we didn’t have a bottle opener. The very nice and helpful clerk(possible manager) had one and opened our bottle for us. Such great customer service right before closing. We were impressed. She smiled the whole time as she first checked us out in the self-check line and then opened our bottle. I wish I caught her name. She was working this past Saturday night, Thank you so much for bringing happiness at the end of the night.

Finally found me some fresh beef liver. Will be sitting in the car for about an hour so I asked the person behind the seafood counter for some ice to keep my liver fresh. Accommodated my request with a smile. Great service.

The store is very clean, and everything is easy to find, reason for 4 stars is because the staff can use some work.

Love this Raley’s location! Great wine selection, organic produce section, Peet’s Coffee inside, $ 5 Monday deals are awesome, great ambiance for a grocery store, free balloon, stickers, and a cookie for the kids. My only complaint is that I wish the Peet’s inside would let you use a Peet’s loyalty card. They do not:(

This is a pretty awesome Raley’s. New store, close to the house, friendly & helpful employees, well stocked with weekly specials, and of course an in house Peets Coffee. The deli has great salads that are freshly made. My favorite is the chicken salad with purple grapes. I normally add more grapes to it and eat it on crackers. I have also picked up several cakes for special occasions such as birthday’s and graduations from their baker. They do great custom sheet cakes that you pre order as well as standard round cakes that they carry all the time for drop ins. Yes it is definitely pricer than the bargain stores, but if you shop the weekly specials, and stick to the produce, diary and meat department you can stock up at the bargain pack yourself places less often on non pershiable items. Dont forget to use your rewards card to obtain your points as they willl mail you coupons and free vouchers.

Growing up in the older part of Sacramento, I remember going to Raley’s as a child when they were located on 8th& T street. That’s almost 50 years ago. Wow! How time flies! Raley’s have come a long ways since then to become one of the top rated supermarket chains in the country. Since moving to Elk Grove California in 1991 Raley’s has been our store of choice. Known for their top USDA premium meats, their quality and selection cannot be beat. They offer 100 percent satisfaction or your money back. The fresh seafood is another reason why we shop here. When it comes to seafood«freshness“counts. Their sanitation practices are the best in the industry! Temperature of product is so important for the safety of the consumers that hourly monitoring is performed on cooler cases as well as products itself. Raley’s has alway been known to have the best quality produce around. Having a large selection of seasonal fruits and vegetable make them a popular destination. They have also expanded their organic selections in the produce department as well in grocery. The sushi department is our favorite department, Made fresh daily they offer a large variety of choices from California Roll to «Nigiri» which is sushi with raw fish on top. I love to eat«sashimi» which is raw fish so naturally Nigiri sushi is my top choice. They also cater to large parties and their prices are quite reasonable. Walking through the bakery department you can’t help smell the warm French bread that just came out of the oven. Can you smell it? Got to have one of those! The dessert case is full of mouth watering sweetness, there’s no other was to say it. Prices may be slightly higher than some other supermarkets. but knowing my family is getting the freshest and safest product is worth it. Not to mention they have a post office located inside the store for your convenience. And a full Pharmacy. Employees are alway very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Raley’s! Being in business since 1935(That’s 80 years) We wish you continued success!

They’ve gotten better! Service is faster(except management) and the check out people are so pleasant. They’ve been there a while, but I guess as they see your face more often, they feel comfortable talking to you. Peets: still a drag.. Never get the same tasting coffee with consistency.

I’m basing my rating of one star on my experience today with Amanda. I got in line with arms full of a case of spring water. Amanda then closed the line for the cashier, but in doing so she wrapped the barrier cord around me and then hooked it. I said«oh my gosh, how rude.» Then Amanda said, «I thought you could have squeezed in.» This just added rudeness on top of rudeness. I quickly paid for the case of water and left. Not sure when/if I’ll be back. That was four months ago, I live in Stonelake and still have not been back.

The most beautiful, cleanest, organized, cheery, and well-stocked supermarket I’ve ever been to in my whole entire life. I know I sound very dramatic, but I’m just really passionate about this place. I come here often cus it’s super convenient, since I literally live a couple minutes away(oh sh*t tmi stalkerS alert). It is my go-to spot, especially in the wee morning when I wanna buy goodies for my coworkers, last minute pick-up potluck items since yo girl don’t cook(what’s a spatula anyway), post office adventures(yes, they’re in here!), and things of that nature. 94.57% of the staff there are super nice, helpful, and professional. For example like that one time when I was looking real hard with determination for contact solution. The produce guy caught me struggling from afar and came to rescue me from developing stomach ulcer. He directed me to the correct aisle(Aline, I worry about you sometime.) and lo’ and behold, there it was. That A+ customer service don’t lie. So trust me, I know wth I’m talking about. HELLO, I’m a Raley’s Something Extra card holder so you know I mean business.

This Raley’s is the closest one to home. I’d rather go here than Bel Air but if you force me to go the latter I’ll do it if I need to. I like how this store appears warm & inviting inside; makes you want to shop all day! I go for the produce, to visit the nice people who work here like Henry or Brian. They have a great variety of produce here. I do go to their pharmacy here to get my prescriptions plus mail priority as they have a mail office which is better than going to the post office unless you have to mail international you have no choice. I do like the sushi guy here Thet or Jack is his American name as he makes great shrimp spring rolls & has made beautiful sushi platters for a recent family memorial. Chinese food to go is pretty decent too; we know the Chinese cook there & he does a good job of making Chinese food tasty! Also the bakery my weakness; I will pick up cakes — tiramisu is my true love. I can hear it calling me now! Shop here with confidence; it will take care of your grocery needs!

This is my go-to grocery store. It’s near and convenient. It’s well stocked and well maintained. The workers are knowledgeable and affable. I go here to shop for home cooked food recipes. The deals are good. The prices are reasonable. I like that they carry the good brands, the better brands, and then the best brands. Depending on what I’m cooking and whom I’m cooking for, I could use the variety of options available here. This is a good, clean, and reliable store. Regardless of how busy they are, they’ve always managed to keep everything organized and easy for the shoppers. You can definitely continue to expect to see me here at least once a week.

This is a very nice store. Beautiful fruits and veggies. Nice selection of the organic/healthy aisles of the hard to find items. Their meats are fantastic. I like to catch their sales. Great selection of brews/wines especially when they’re not a liquor store. Lol. Their specialty breads are delicious. I normally like to shop here early mornings when everything is being fully stocked and fresh. Minus a star for being so expensive. I come in for sales and/or to pick up a specialty item. Employees here have been very courteous and helpful.
