Can’t understand the so-so reviews. My husband and I have eaten here many times and it’s always a five star meal! I love the ambience and the cocktails are tasty. This is our go-to place for an amazing big salad. I’ve also had the Spaghetti Carbonara a few times and it was very good. I also recommend the baked garlic sour dough appetizer, very good. They have happy hour 3 – 6 on weekdays you can get some really good drinks and apps for only $ 5 each. I highly recommend!

Service was a bit of a disappointment… we love coming here especially since they’re across the street from us. Problems listed below: 1. Waited over 15 minutes before someone even came to us for beverages yet tables seated after us were being helped. 2. Waited for the food, my pizza was already cooked, sat on the counter, placed on a heat lamp while waiting for my husbands pasta. 3. Tables that ordered numerous things were served before us while my pizza was waiting and my husbands dish had been now served and waiting for our waitress to pick up. 4. Sitting at our table sitting, waiting, waiting, and waiting while watching our food sit there, but other wait staff is giving everyone else their meals. 5. Finally our waitress appears and brings us our meal, it was delicious. Thankfully. Left zero tip… this is something we’ve never ever done that before. Aside from that… it was okay.

This place is ok… nothing special. Went here twice now. Atmosphere is nice… good environment for hanging out after work and happy hour. Seems like when they are busy… service and food are meh… waitresses are not rude, but they are slow to get to your order. Or that’s what happened to my friends and I. We met up for a birthday dinner around 630. Place was pretty packed… don’t know how long it took to get a table. Came late, so most of the party was already sitting at our table. Ordering beer, appetizer, and entrée took a while. Food look a little dry… and seemed a little high price for the amount they give you. Beer had a limited selection… about 5 – 6 on tap. I don’t know… I would probably go again, but I might just go for happy hour. Don’t know if I’d be willing to eat a big meal there.

I’m glad I gave Paesano’s another chance. My most recent visit was a complete 180 from my previous experience. My friends and I celebrated a birthday here. Our waitress, Heidi, was AMAZING. She was so nice and attentive, as well as a really good iPhone photographer! In all honesty, she was one of the best waitresses I’ve ever encountered; and she made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. I would recommend coming here for HH. Their appetizers are delicious; but I have not yet found an entrée that I really like. I’m definitely returning for HH! Hopefully I find the perfect entrée for me next time! PS: SHOUTOUTTOHEIDI ‘CAUSESHE’S JUSTTHATAWESOME! :)

I’m not coming back. I had great service and the food was just fine, but the management was awful. A couple of our family members are allergic to vinegar, so they ordered create-your-own pizzas and then asked for them to be made into calzones — an option listed below the pizza section. When their food came out, it came with salads dressed in vinegrettes which had seeped under the calzones. My family had to send them back and asked about why the salads weren’t mentioned in the menu. No one had an answer, but we did find out that the calzones always come with your choice of chips or salads. We weren’t given a choice because they ran out of chips. It was fine because the calzones that finally made it to our table were actually pretty tasty, although oily due to the pepperoni and cheese. BUTTHENWEWEREOVERCHARGED. Not only did they not offer us any compensation for the extra 20 minutes of wait time, but they actually charged us a dollar more than the menu price for EACH calzone. They also charged us twice for one of the toppings. Our server recommended that we speak to the manager, and so we did. The manager turned out to be the reason we won’t be coming back. She uselessly complimented our keen eyesight and said that no one had ever noticed the price difference. How comforting. Then she handed us(unwanted) coupons and said she’d inform her superiors. She didn’t, however, adjust the price. When we also mentioned the salads, she actually asked us if we had mentioned to our server that we had allergies when ordering… NO. WEDIDN’T. BECAUSEWHYWOULDWE? THESALADSWEREN’T ONTHEMENU! I had carefully read the menu to make sure we wouldn’t have vinegar issues. Remember how extraordinarily perceptive we were about the price? Remember how keen our eyesight is? I don’t go into ice cream shops or Starbucks yelling about vinegar allergies to every staff member, either, because why would I? There’s no vinegar related items listed with my order on the menu! Ugh, it makes me mad. I hate that after all of the problems we had, she made it sound like it was our fault for failing to relay information that we thought was irrelevant. Sad to see management that bad. Again, decent food and our server was lovely… still never coming back.

I went there last week with a friend & it was my first time. We got there & it was happy hour time so we order Bruschetta, Bocce Balls, & Focaccia Tostare first. After a few more minute deciding what to order I got the Fettuccine Arrostiti, & my friend got the Pork Fussili. The appetizers came out first & the Bocce Balls are fried pizza dough in garlic butter, the Focaccia Tostare has caramelized onions on top & it was sauteed in wine & you could taste it, the Bruschetta has smoky cheese in it overall the app we got were really good. Our pasta came out mine was the Fettucine Arrostiti with chicken in a spicy cilantro lime cream sauce it was delicious, my friend got the Pork Fussili with braised pork topped with sour cream, & habanero pesto & her’s too was delicious. Overall the meal were delicious, & the price on the menu were under $ 15, I would come back here again.

Fresh Italian food!!! I decided to come here on my birthday and I couldn’t be more pleased. Great customer service, they accommodated our big party last minute with no problems. Everyone enjoyed their food and had nothing but compliments. I decided to order the spicy creole pasta and would definitely recommend this dish. My family and I will definitely be going back. Thank you Patty and Lauren!!!

WATCHYOURRECEIPTS! This place overcharges and they don’t care. I ordered a build-your-own pizza, the menu said the base price for one topping was $ 8.95, I was charged $ 9.95. I know, it’s only a dollar, but every dollar counts. When I brought it to my servers attention, she said that she would have management come to see me. When the manager came out, she didn’t offer me the adjustment I expected but gave me a $ 5 apology gift card to come back. REALLY… What makes her think I’d be coming back! Maybe she didn’t know that whatever price is printed on the menu rules over the price the computer comes up with. Just like if you see a sign in a retail store, that they put up, even if it’s expired, they have to honor that price to you. Zero stars to the manager who really didn’t handle the situation correctly. Lisa, my server, was courteous and attentive. But didn’t mention that my dinner came with a pre-dressed salad. The menu also didn’t mention a salad. I can’t eat vinegarette so had to send my food back and wait another twenty minutes. 3 stars I ended up taking my food to go.

Truthfully this place is gorgeous, ambience is great for going out with your friends. However, the service is SLOWASHECK, and I repeat SLOWASHECK. Additionally their service combined with the food selection is meh. I’ve gone here on multiple occasions and everytime, I don’t know why– but their servers just take ages, perhaps they’re understaffed. If you are hungry and wanna just have a quick dinner this is NOT the place. There’s usually always a wait time to get seated(it usually goes by pretty fast). However it’s waiting for your food that takes at least 30 minutes to one hour. My 3 friends and I started off the night ordering calamari with their kale salad. We got our drinks and even ordered our main course before our appetizers came out. Then we started the waiting game. We talked on and on, I mean it was nice to catch up, but I remember just looking up thinking«oh our food is coming» but no… it didn’t. The wait was so incredibly long. However about 50 minutes later(I kid you not) our appetizers came out, and literally 2 minutes after our main course came out. There was so much on the table it couldn’t fit. We were so hungry so we all ended up just digging into our main meals and we barely touched our appetizers. I don’t remember what I ordered but it was so and so, it had balsamic vinaigrette in it which gave a nice flavor, or so I thought. OH however, their garlic bread –that stuff is actually and probably the best thing they have, it has the best crunch and doughy softness all in one. LOL So overall the experience was whatever, will I probably come back? Eh, probably not, but hey that garlic bread was pretty . P. S. skip the kale salad it’s very bland and truthfully not worth the money — calamari is alright.

It’s pushing 8:30 pm on a Saturday night and it’s raining sheets outside. You have cabin fever in suburbia south of Fruitridge Road. WHATDOYOUDO? #Pizza That’s what you do. But you don’t wanna drive. It’s raining sheets. But you NEED to get out. Rest assured Paesanos on Bond is there for exactly THIS conundrum. Keep sailing to the left turn light AFTER the herd heading for In & Out Burger. You get the atmosphere of midtown Sacramento or downtown Davis without all of the traffic lights, idiotic jaywalking and, would you LOOKATTHIS, THERE’S PARKING! I’ve been coming to this particular location for YEARS now in exactly these types of scenarios. The pies are ALL less than $ 16 each. They’re ALL the feed 2 – 3 in one sitting range. So even if your date doesn’t like YOUR pizza, you can splurge on separate pizzas and not file for bankruptcy on the way home. Just make sure those to go boxes are properly shut before getting your NASCAR on driving home. They offer a very serviceable full bar. EVERY Paesanos has at least a couple of local beers on tap. So you can get that beer week«feeling» in without being in that beer week cattle drive. Their appetizers are a nice touch, all in the under $ 10 range. Their gelato is REALLYGOOD for how inexpensive it is. A side salad with any pizza or entrée is like 3 bux. So add all the bells and whistles if you’d like. Save me two seats in the bar area, especially if Sarah is back there making it happen with her blonde hair and nerd glasses. CLASSIC Elk Grove. What’s discussed in the bar at Paesanos STAYS at the bar at Paesanos. Capisce? GOOD.

This is still one of my favorite restaurants in sacramento/elk grove. I love how they have pizza, pasta and delicious salads. Great for the whole family. It’s ridiculous how affordable this place is, which is awesome. I have tried almost everything on the menu, and I haven’t tried anything that I haven’t liked, yet! Enjoy!

I love this place sat at the bar this time same great food and the bartender Jessie was super cool with a smile on his face and cool conversation and on the plus side I noticed they have improved on staff and they had a hostess this time which was an issue before but I’m glad to see they seem like their pulling it together and the staff was friendly again so that’s a good thing once again I got the baked pasta and once again it was great 2nd time here and of coarse I’ll be back

UPDATE: After our bad experience the previous visit, the district manager contacted me and offered to give me a Gift Card. I was firm on my decision to never go back but my husband convinced me that we should give it another go. Husband and I dined in last night(1⁄15) and it was much better than the last visit. We walked in at around 9 pm, the restaurant was pretty slow(two tables), a few employees saw us at the door but ignored us. we stood around for 5 minutes till someone finally seated us. I thought this was going to be a another bad experience until our server introduced herself. Tay was a very nice waitress, she was quick, professional and made sure we were doing okay. Food: I got the spaghetti with meatballs with spaghetti squash and it was okay(kinda bland). Artichoke crab dip was amazing! My husband got the balsamic angel hair pasta and he loved it! Overall I think if the employees had more of a welcoming attitude we would frequent here.

After my recent negative experience, I was promptly contacted by Nicole, the restaurant manager. She offered me a GC to return and give them a second chance. I would usually not accept a GC, but felt that if I had been at the restaurant and spoke with someone, that the offer would have been made and accepted or maybe my meal would have been discounted. She sent the GC right away. A few weeks later, I went back with the BF, my sister and niece. We were seated outside. We waited a bit and when no one came out, we went in to look for a server and one was sent out. We ordered our drinks and meals and enjoyed the nice fall weather. It took a while for our meals to come out and no one came out to refill our drinks or coffee. So, once again, we went inside to the hostess stand to request refills. Our food came out and everything was tasty and delicious. Everyone was very happy about their meals. Our server came out once to check on us and that was the last we saw our server. No one came out to give refills and once again, we had to go inside to inquire about our check. There was one other party on the patio so we weren’t the only ones out there. I went inside and spoke with the manager. Jessica(I think that was her name). I explained my previous experience and the gift certificate I received. She offered me another GC. I thanked her but told her that I don’t believe we would use it to come back. She applied the amount of the GC I had and wanted to know if I wanted the rest of the meal comped. Since we enjoyed our food, I thought this would be too much and just asked her to apply the amount of the GC and we would pay for the remaining balance. She was extremely nice and gracious. It was a positive end to what could have been a negative experience. We really enjoyed the food and would probably go to another location.

Holy moly! I can not believe that I have lived in Elk Grove for 8 years and today was the first day I’ve eaten at this little gem. Love this place! The exterior is deceiving, hidden behind shrubs but once inside this place is the perfect. Charming and quaint! Full bar complete with library slide ladder. We order the calamari appetizer which was so good, literally melted in my mouth unlike other calamari I’ve had that is real chewy. For lunch I chose the smoke cheese steak sandwich with i side salad. Delish! Hubby had fettuccini chicken pasta with a cilantro lime sauce. Wonderful! Great New Year’s Eve lunch!

We had been to Paesanos many times but had never tried their breakfast so we thought we would give it a try. My sister and I ordered the mimosa special where you get a bottle of champagne and a carafe of orange juice for $ 12.95. It was totally worth it! We had difficulty drinking all of it! For breakfast I ordered the hash. It was so good! The meat was juicy and had a great flavor! Looks like Paesanos is a great place for Dinner and Breakfast!

Try the Italian chop salad. Also sample the pork fussili or the tortellini formaggio. Their meat balls are delicious. Order a pizzas afterwards and take it home. Atmosphere is super … and I love their old fashions. Great service staff.

It’s confusing to me that I eat here so much and I’ve never written a review?!? What??? Hahah paesanos is great! This is my go-to Italian good spot! The servers are awesome! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many lovely waitress and waiters and seriously paesanos is great, I don’t get the reviews about their customer service at all! At this point I’ve ordered or at least tried just about the entire menu, but did you know they have Sunday brunch??? And it’s awesome!!! I ordered an omelette and it was seriously delicious. Their appetizers are so good! We usually get fried ravioli which comes with a side of delicious spicy marinara! If I’m feeling like pasta that night, it’s a no brainier– Paesanos has something for you. And their salads are to die for. My usual is the steak salad or farmers market salad because I try to keep it light but seriously if you have a chance to have the pasta, you won’t regret it. Please. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

First time here in years. Walked in to a very loud ad busy restaurant. We asked for outside dinning and we were happily seated. It was a warm and inviting outside patio with vines and planter with assorted healthy plants. We ordered a Calamari that had a crisp flavorful batter and very tender squid. I ordered a Pineapple Ginger Mojito that had old molded limp mint! I cannot believe that the bartender even served it to a customer! I returned and did nit want any other just because I might get the same quality drink with anything I might order! I had the sausage Stromboli and she had the Italian salad. Both dishes were good. The salad was crisp and cold but my Stromboli was really«one note» as they as. But it was hot crisp and the demi was very tasty. Our server saved a star do to great service! All in all we will return to see if they can make a quality drink!
