If you follow my reviews you probably know that I am some what of a nail shop «tramp» ! I have frequented many nail shops in Stockton, Elk Grove, South Sac and Sac over the past years. I am picky about the service that I receive but not OCD but just know what I like.
I had seen the very positive reviews for Lotus Nails about 6 months ago but due to needing an appointment I was never able to get in when I needed to get my nails done on the weekend. Finally I made a same day appointment when I was off during the week and when I arrived I was super surprised that two of the Techs Lynnie & Te both had done my nails before at Allure nail shop in Stockton! They had relocated here a while! I have been 3 times now and realize this will be my new nail shop due to the following:
The workers are so friendly, will let you talk their ears off, always on time (due to appointments) attentive, and most importantly great nail service skills. The shop is not fancy but clean and organized. They give you the file and buffer in a baggie when your done. They have a good selection of colors in powder, gel, and regular polish. Best of all this shop is easy to get to from my house but try to remember to bring cash but if you forget you can always buy a pack of gum at the nearby Chevron and get cash back.
I am so pleased that I found my new nail shop for my manicures! I will try to stay «faithful»!

This has got to be my favorite nail salon. They only take appointments so make sure to call in advance!
Thinking this is another basic Vietnamese nail salon?! Think again! Everyone is super inviting and speaks fluent English. I’ve had several salonists, but by far, I love Dixie the most! I had a cut on one of my fingers, and I asked if they could be gentle around that area, and they were very careful! Not to mention, NO bubbles, and always a smooth finish whether you opt for acrylic or a gel manicure. I’ve also had their pedicure, and it is quite awesome!
I’ve decided to venture off around other Elk Grove nail salons, but this is definitely the best and will be my regular place for now on!

After all the horrible experiences I’ve had at other nail salons in Elk Grove I decided to try this place out because of the good reviews, and now Lotus is my favorite so far! Right when I walked in for the first time yesterday the energy was so relaxing and all the ladies were very welcoming. Monica did my nails and they came out absolutely perfect, I have no complaints! I also like how they let you keep your nail file for the next time you go in, very sanitary in my opinion. This is definitely going to be my new go to spot! :)

Leni did a great job on my nails, love them. The place isn’t fancy but they are clean & do a good job. Haven’t gotten a pedicure there yet, but soon. They are very sanitary, they give you the files/​buffers they use on your nails to take home– something I haven’t seen at all in other Elk Grove nail salons. I think I have found my new place!

Jennifer was great. Very professional clean and accurate service. I’m definitely going back.

I asked some friends for suggestions of where to go to get my nails done, but I ended up stopping here based on the reviews, and the fact that it was near me. I had no appointment, but they were so welcoming and accommodated me quickly. COME HERE they did an amazing job and took their time. I will definitely be back and would recommend to all my friends.

I absolutely love Lotus Nails. My sisters and I drive 45 minutes because they are the best salon we have ever been to. Clean, friendly, and they really take their time to do your nails and genuinely care. I have been coming here since they opened 3 years ago and I won’t go anywhere else.

Clean, pleasant atmosphere! Friendly staff, great nails. Only downside, only takes cash! Keep that in mind.

Elk grove, I am not impressed with any of you nail shops here and that is why I drive to Fair Oaks. I was desperately in need of a fill and didn’t want to drive all the way there that day. I walked in and they said 30 in with 2 nail technicians available on a tuesday. I left to do some errands and came back with a lady ready! I was surprised because most lie and say a shorter amount of time to keep clients waiting. I paid 20 for a fill and an extra 10 for gel. I was told its by appointment only but I got lucky! I can see why they do appointment only because they really don’t rush and want to give their customers the best service possible. They even told they soak offs instead of ripping your full set off. Most don’t do soak off because it takes more time and work, leaving them less time for more clients to work on. There was not a big selection on nudes, but I did find a very pretty nude I ended up loving. Thi was very diligent, careful taking her time on my nails as well as making sure I was ok with all the shaping done. I have had my nails for 3 weeks and it is still shiny, havnt chipped or lifted! Very affordable for their service, because all other nail salons I’ve been to charge more for rushed service that does not do good work. It is worth taking the time to make an appointment.
It is a smaller shop with little space. Very clean. They give you the new tools they use on you to take home and bring back which is what every nail shop should do because they are not suppose to reuse it on other clients! I love Lotus Nails!

I don’t ask for much for my nail experience — I keep them short and simple and usually only come for pedicures. After two visits I’ve found this salon to be consistent and welcoming. Yes, the cash only thing is a pain but it’s not unlike many other nail salons I’ve visited. The smell isn’t overwhelming or bothersome at all (usually my chief complaint at a nail salon) and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Do make an appointment and its smooth sailing and a nice pampering experience.

I have been going here for about a year now. I guess it is about time i wrote a review! I LOVE Dixie. Of course, i’m writing this on Dixie’s last week for a while. She is taking maternity leave for a few months. The others are all good too, i’m told. I will be going to Tee in two weeks. Dixie takes her time and is very thorough, as well as being personable and great to talk to. I anticipate being able to say the same about the others.
Lotus is GREAT!
NOTE: they are now by appointment only and take only cash. This is fine with me. Well worth it for good prices and great service.

I walked into Lotus with no appt. I was greeted immediately, and asked if I have an appt. One of the lady’s got up and check the appt book, and stated they can service me right then.!! Great! There is a big sign saying CASH ONLY! Which I found was a big inconvenience but whatever! Luckily a gas station is right next door (walking distance) or else I would have went else where.
I picked my color, not much of a selection but seen a few that caught my eye. Was seated in the chair and my pedi began… The massage was nice and relaxing! Not rushed, my tech Jennifer did a great job. Not much conversation between us, but I’m okay with that. The ambience was relaxing, no loud conversations, no TV shows on the TV. Just Nice music playing from the TV.
This is my 2^nd nail salon I been too since moving to EG and right now Lotus will be my go to place. They also give you the tools they used for your pedi to take home.
Did I forget to mention the most important part? Uhhhh yeaaa! My toes came out cute!

I went in with a large request and they delivered! Nail art set for my youngest son’s graduation from Navy boot camp!

My mom and I have gone here only twice but they are so amazing.
They are nice, clean, and friendly. We have only had pedicures but they always end up great and long lasting!
My only complaint is that one girl (I wont put her name down) was more concerned about her own fingernails than my pedicure. By the time she started on my toes, my mom was half way done!
I love that they give you the buffer and file that they use on your feet. I know that it is sanitary because of this.
I can’t wait to get my manicure done and see how they turn out! :)

Seeing all the great reviews, I was so excited to get a pedicure here since it was closer to my house than my usual place. I was able to book my appointment the same day but the experience was not all that great. The lady that did my pedicure cut my nails straight across which was fine but on my right thumb, she cut so close that it started to sting and bleed. By the end of my appointment, I could feel my toe throbbing and the pain lasted throughout that evening.
I’m staring at the scab on my toe now as I type this and don’t think I will go back.
On a positive note though, she did give me the disposable nail tools she used on me.

LOVE these girls! I am so happy to have found this place and that they actually had an opening the first time I ever walked it. There’s only 4 girls and they’re all really good so it is hard to get an appointment so appointments are pretty much necessary. I always call a day or 2 ahead and make an appointment, I never request anyone because so far they are all awesome! I never feel rushed like I do in many other nail salons, they’re always open to trying something new and are good at making suggestions when I have no idea what I want. Everyone is very friendly and talkative throughout the service which I enjoy. And my gel manicure always last at least 2 – 3 weeks (sometimes 4) unlike other places I have been.

First time here and I’m happy to say that I may have found my new fav spot! Anita did an amazing job on my nails. Looking forward to seeing her again.
Also, I love how you need an appointment to be seen. It’s more personal.

I had previously gone to a horrible place so when I came here, it felt like a match made in heaven! I love the girls here, they make you feel at home and are always focused on the customers and they speak ENGLISH 100% of the time :) Their work lasts long, it usually takes about three weeks before I need a fill.
I would recommend making an appointment though cause they are usually booked. I had my nails done with Anita and Dixie by far and they are pretty good. I’m waiting to try with Tee and Monica. I hear they are amazing too. My nails are pretty small so I love how they take their time to perfect my gel nails and to not hurt me. This is my to go place now, I am definitely becoming a regular here.

My mother was in town and in need of a mani/​pedi, so after seeing that my friends had gone here and had a great experience I figured it was time I try them out!
I called at 11:30am on a Saturday hoping to be able to make a same day appointment, and lucky for us they were able to pencil us in at 1pm! While my mother got a mani/​pedi, I just opted for a pedicure as it was long overdue.
The girls that helped us were very nice and friendly. My mothers foot was broken at the time, so the girl was very careful not to hurt her and still did a fabulous job. My mother also has to get acrylic nails put on her big toes thanks to a botched removal of the nail years ago, and they looked fantastic as well! My pedicure was just what I needed. Some mango scrub and a leg massage had be comfortable and relaxed. I had the girl paint a french tip on my toes and she did a great job.
I’m glad I followed my friends here because I will definitely return! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because when I called to make the appointment I asked if they did American’s (because that’s the way my mom likes her fingernails painted) and they said they did. Unfortunately, that was untrue. Otherwise the experience would have been pretty perfect!

I went here for the first time, hoping to find my new favorite spot to go to for my pedicure needs. Cause believe me, I need it.
It’s in the same plaza as boba tea on Elk Grove, but it’s in the back by chevron.
The place itself is nice, small, lotus décor. When you walk in there’s a pedi spa on the left and a mani station on the right.
I love that they spoke English, well I should say or well enough, to understand what I needed and want. I walked in and it was slow, she told me they’re usually slow Mondays and Tuesdays so walk ins are welcome but other than that it’s best to make an appointment.
Dixie was extremely helpful. She asked what kind of scrub I wanted. I chose between mango, milk, lavender and one other that I forgot, but I chose mango.
I got exactly what I wanted, she took her time to help me with what I needed to get done. I will be back.
