Hampton Inn & Suites

SO nice and welcoming. We stayed on Christmas Eve. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and just overall made it a nice environment. The room was perfect, clean, and comfortable. And, my significant other cannot stop raving about the breakfast! Such a good spread, all yummy. Thank you!

Friendly staff, convenient location, spacious rooms. Clean. Nice tvs in rooms. I am here for a week on business and am happy for a comfy place to end the day. Had a business suite and it worked very well. Stayed on the fourth floor on the end, rm 436 and besides the background drone of the highway, it was nice and quiet. The girls at the front desk were all smiles, and very friendly. The gym is 3 treadmills, an elliptical and freeweights. Very small but worked for the week. My only complaint is the windows in the rooms are not insulated, and the cold air flows right inside, making it freezing at night. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. And it was double points this week for Hilton honors members! Nice!

I want to say a big thank you to the staff here. They went above and beyond to help us set up an end of the the season party. As a parent of a son on a travel baseball team for a few years now we stay in a lot of hotels and by far the staff here has been the best!!!

I recently got married and everyone stayed at the Hampton inn for the weekend. The staff was incredibly helpful, patient and kind the entire time. Zackary and Mandi were particularly amazing! If you are planning an event you must demand to speak with Zackary. He will make sure everything runs smoothly. The rooms were clean and much nicer than the pictures online. Highly recommend!

Service here is top-​notch. I reserved a 2-​Queen room but was upgraded as a Hilton Honors member to a King suite. As someone else mentioned, I found it very odd that a work desk and chair divided the sleeping area from the couch area. Anyway, the thermostat didn’t work, so I had to switch rooms (Gen’l Mgr looked into right away when notified), to a 2-​Queen room. I thought all Hampton Suites were actual suites with kitchens, so made a snarky comment about it not having a fridge. Mandy at the front desk offered to send one up, but I turned her down as I didn’t need it for anything important and was close to the ice machine anyway. While I was out, she sent one up anyway with a very kind note. You just don’t get that kind of service anywhere, it was very sweet of her. The next day I walked past the lobby during her shift, and she was in the back folding towels. Seems like a little much to ask of a front-​desk person, but she was still so pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast quite good, as other reviews have noted. I liked that they had cut-​up fruit (some places only have whole fruit), good coffee, and a good selection of other things which were kept clean and well-​stocked. I could hear traffic noise on the 4^th floor from Laguna Blvd., but would definitely recommend to others.

I stayed in the Hampton Inn with my friends for a wedding we were attending. I really liked the e-​check in option, because I just went to the front desk, picked up my keys, and was on my way. And I couldn’t waste any time because I had a hair appointment to get to.
I got the King suite, and it was pretty spacious. The bed was comfy, and my friend and I divided the pillows evenly. There were two firm pillows, and two softer pillows. She preferred the softer ones, and I needed a firm pillow to raise my foot (I sprained my ankle a few months back and danced way to hard at the wedding). My friend who slept on the sofa said it was uncomfortable. Most sofa beds are, but my friend can sleep anywhere. So for her to say she couldn’t sleep means it was pretty uncomfortable.
The room was mostly clean. I noticed hair between the carpet and the tile, and there were a few strands in underneath the covers. I assume it came from the person cleaning the room, and it wasn’t worth complaining to the Front Desk.
Breakfast was pretty good. There are two waffle makers, and that morning, there were sausages, biscuits, and gravy. I got there around 8/8:30, and there weren’t many pastries left. I’m not sure if I came at a time before a staff member was able to replenish them. I got my fill of waffles, biscuits, and gravy, along with passion fruit juice. I brought some waffles and other breakfast items to my friends since they were still asleep. I didn’t realize there were trays, and a staff member kindly gave me one. On my way to the elevators, I noticed brown bags at the front desk. They were actually breakfast items to go, which I thought was fantastic for those who are on the go.
Overall, I had a decent stay. I thought the staff were really friendly and helpful, and it’s a good location off the freeway.

Clean rooms and comfortable experience. We stayed in a 2 queen bed suite on the 4^th floor (Room 422). Overall the room and bathrooms were clean. Lots of extra towels. Pool area outdoors is clean as well. Dinning/​sitting area is nice and modern. Breakfast was filling (cereals, juices, bagels, potatoes, bacon, eggs, toast, fruits, waffles, muffins, coffee, tea & infused water). Breakfast staff was super friendly and welcoming. She even gave my daughter a little kiddie pack (crayons, color sheet & pool ball).
Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! :)

Took my 2 kids here. Stay for basketball tournament and wasn’t expecting much. It’s a Hampton Inn and I won a bid on priceline with $ 70. I was just praying it was ok. Let me tell you this was one of the most pleasant places I have ever stayed at. At check in they were attentive and personable. We were not a hassle like some places make you feel. The woman who checked us in introduced us to night shift desk person since she was leaving soon. I thought that was very professional of her. They called up after we got to room to make sure it was to our satisfaction (it’s always exciting to get a call on the room phone!)
Room was really nice. Bathrooms were big and very contemporary with plenty of towels. Breakfast was way above average and the keep coffee and water out in the lobby all day. There was even someone at breakfast asking if you needed a mint before you left to take on your day.
The entire staff made us feel welcome everytime they saw us and I am definitely staying here in the future.

Great value & service. We stayed here for my friend’s wedding & got a mini-​suite — it was great! They have a pretty deluxe comped breakfast setup, although I’m pretty sure everything comes out of a freezer, can, or box. We were able to check-​in a bit early despite the fact that they were full for the holiday weekend. I would definitely go back… if I’m ever in Elk Grove again.

In my search for places to stay when traveling, sometimes hotel pictures are deceiving and the establishment isn’t as nice as they are in person. But with the Hampton Inn & Suites, what you see is what you get.
It’s clean, well maintained, and the hotel staff from the front desk to housekeeping were friendly. Check-​in was a breeze and after a long drive, was happy to settle into an inviting room with comfy beds, plenty of fluffy pillows, and a bathroom well stocked with everything I could possibly need for my stay.
Breakfast is severed daily from 6am-​10am and offers hot food as well as cereals, bagels, pastries, coffee, several kinds of juice, etc. The breakfast eating area is spacious and the adjoining lounge is comfortable with a large TV that can be viewed from both areas.
The Hampton Inn is situated in a convenient location just off of the 5 fwy, near gas stations, and is a very short walk away to several fast food joints. The hotel has plenty of parking and I felt safe coming back to the hotel even late at night.
I enjoyed my stay here and would gladly come back again.

The Hampton hotel is a good choice. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. They have good customer service and free breakfast daily. There was a variety of waffles, toast, eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, & juice. Coffee & water is available ²⁴⁄₇. Martha at the front desk was very professional & friendly.
Althou, once I did not like reserving through the reservation number that I was tranferred to. It was better going in the next time and reserving with Martha.
The hotel across the parking lot may be cheaper but you get what you paid for.

This is great place to stay the staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk is always courteous and on top of it. The maintenance man Nick is excellent, very knowledgeable at what he does and courteous! I would recommend this Hampton Inn to all my family friends!

The stay here was comfortable. I stay for 2 days and the staff was friendly. I miss breakfast, they grab a breakfast to go bag for me. I had two different reservation with two different website for two different days, they work with me to allow me to keep my room without having to change it.

This is a very nice Hampton Inn. It was clean and well maintained, and pretty new. The service was good. And the breakfast was good. Definitely on the nicer end of Hampton Inns.

I e-​checked in for s 3pm arrival. I arrived after 2 pm… room not ready… its 3:30…room still not ready.
Hmmm…gave them 3 chances… This the last time I am staying here.

I stopped here during my trip back to the Bay Area from Idaho. I wasn’t planning on it but was too tired to continue. Called and the friendly lady at the counter said there were plenty of rooms. I wish I had gotten her name, she deserved to be recognized for her great customer service. There were two other staff members I interacted with during my time there that also had a great friendly attitude.
The check in was smooth and quick. Room clean. Slept soundly. The breakfast in the morning is the usual offered from Hampton Inn. No complaints at all with this hotel.

So, it’s 2am and I just fought a bunch of Los Angeles traffic to get here. I just want to get my keys and get to my room, but I just can’t get past how friendly and professional Samantha is during my check in. Amazing personality and awesome service! It was my first time here and somehow it felt like home away from home. Convenient location and very nice hotel. I’d definitely rate this a 3-​star hotel and I was told there is free breakfast too. After my long drive, I’m really appreciating the no-​hassle, excellent service and my nice, comfy room. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Samantha for being so great!!!

The staff at this hotel is awesome! Our room was super clean and I couldnt have asked for anything else. Great location and great breakfast. Everyone greets the guests with a smile. I will definetly stay here again!

I stayed here 1÷20÷14 for one night. I parked my car in the Hotel’s parking lot only to find my car window shattered the next day. Some jerk stole items from my car. Why is that the hotel’s problem? Because the parking lot is very dark with little or no lighting and there are no security cameras to monitor or deter theft. The broken cost me $ 250 alone.
However, the hotel staff and management responded with professionalism and sympathy. They had the room charge refunded without question and were very apologetic. The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the breakfast and lobby layout. This place would get five stars if security was better. I would stay here again if I knew security was a bigger priority.

I got married at the Grand Island Mansion and we contracted with the Hampton Inn as the hotel of choice for our guests. The package included transportation for our guests to and from the wedding venue.
Our experience with the Hampton Inn was terrible:
1) Many of our guests were unable to reserve rooms on the room block because they were too slow at adding rooms. They eventually got added after our guests contacted us and we had to call the hotel several times.
2) A few of our guests reserved rooms for the wrong night and the Hampton Inn didn’t mention to our guests that they booked the wrong night. It was eventually solved.
3) We were told we could have two pickup times from the wedding venue to take people back to the hotel. The week of the wedding the Hampton Inn wanted to know exactly how many people would be on the early shuttle and how many would be on the late shuttle. We had no way of knowing if guests wanted to go home early or not. The Hampton Inn claimed they called people to ask which shuttle they wanted but no one ever actually got a call.
4) The shuttle taking guests to the wedding had no A/​C! Our guests were stripping in the shuttle because of how hot it was. The driver knew 3 hours before that there was no a/​c but still didn’t do anything about it.
5) The shuttle got lost and our guests arrived 30 minutes late to the wedding.
DO NOT BOOK THE HAMPTON INN FOR YOUR WEDDING!
Go with the Holiday Inn in Elk Grove!
