Established in 1986.

The year 2014 marked sixteen years since The Rock Church’s production of For What Purpose, which ran previously for 12 consecutive years from 1986 to 1997 and was once considered to be the largest theatrical production in Northern California (including the Bay Area). The recent release offers a new 100,000 square foot venue, a 3,500 square foot stage, case of more than 250 actors, live music, and improved special effects.

We hope that the events portrayed in this dramatic presentation become more than just a narrative from the past but instead become part of your personal story. You and I are the reason that Jesus Christ bled and died. He paid the price for our sins and rose triumphant over death, hell, and the grave.
