Floor to Ceiling Kitchen, Bath & Flooring

Shortly after our master bathroom remodel we decided to revamp our kitchen. Our kitchen had the standard suburbia look: oak cabinets, bar top counter, a small useless counter area, vinly flooring and the «coffin box» looking ceiling light to name a few things.
We took out everything! We moved the kitchen layout slightly, so that the countertops would all be put to good use. We bought new cabinets with soft close and different organizing options. They even installed our BlueStar range and hood (this was purchased elsewhere), which had certain installation requirements.
We decided to update the flooring not only through the kitchen, but the breakfast nook, dining, pantry, and foyer areas. They gave us all the different flooring options and were knowledgable in each product. It was nice that we could look at them. We decided to go with a Mannington laminate flooring that looks like wood. Our friends and family think it’s actual hardwood!
I can’t tell you how many times we went through their showroom to look at their products and to talk to them about our ideas prior to coming up with a Master plan. Yes, there were a hiccups as any remodel has, but Floor to Ceiling quickly addressed them. The Floor to Ceiling family are helpful and friendly.

Our kitchen needed a serious facelift. We had tile countertops with dirty grout that we inherited from the previous homeowners. The sink was chipped, leaky and smelly, the laminate flooring looked terrible.
To add to that, the carpet in the living room was so stained, worn and stinky from our 2 small kids that I was embarrassed to have people over.
I heard about Floor to Ceiling from some neighborhood forums and decided to give them a call.
Robert was very friendly and personable and showed us all our options. He was very patient with us as we took time deciding what exactly we wanted and as we added things on. He was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products he sells.
The crews who did the demo and installs were all very polite and respectful. They always cleaned up thoroughly and they did a fantastic job! My house was done in less than two weeks and I’m very happy with how it looks.
I would definitely recommend giving Robert a call.

Ok from the begining as I walked in the store and their was a lady at the counter. As I walked in I said hello. I know I said it loud enough that she heard me but she decided not to say hello. I thought that was really rude. I walked in went around in a circle and walked right out. I didn’t want to deal with their customer service if I did place an order.

I had new flooring installed in the kitchen, entry way and two bathrooms. Floor To Ceiling did a wonderful job with the installation. They were on time, neat and respectful of my home. I also had three new toilets installed and David, the plumber, was always on time and did a great job installing the toilets. There was one small leak that I noticed and David came right out to my house on a Saturday and took care of the problem. I would definitely use Floor To Ceiling again for future remodels.

I had Floor To Ceiling install new carpet, tile, and baseboards. Each of the jobs either had or has some problems. The main reason though I am giving them a 1 star rating is due to their unwillingness to fix a problem that was caused by the baseboard installer. The baseboard installer chipped a corner off of our new tile while removing or installing baseboard. Baseboard in that corner was also installed too high. And, new baseboard was supposed to be installed behind our refrigerator. My wife went down to Floor To Ceiling to bring it to their attention. A couple weeks passed and we never heard from them. So I went down to talk to them about it. He told me something like, «Oh, I’ve been meaning to call you». He made a call to the baseboard installer who was supposed to drop a new piece of baseboard at our house so we could paint it. A month goes by and nothing happened. What bothers me more is there was no follow up call from Floor To Ceiling. I go into their office again to remind them about the problem and that it still has not been resolved. I am told it will be taken care of. Now here we are 5 months after my wife brought the issue up to them and they have not called me one time about it. I refuse to go in their a 4^th time because I know it is just going to be a waste of my gas.

I was looking for a simple kitchen remodel, cabinets and countertops. When the Floor to Ceiling representative came to my house, he was overly solicitous and syrupy sweet, two phony things I hate. He got an emergency call while here and had to leave and the office called me back later to schedule another appointment to finish the estimate. That day he kept getting interrupted by phone calls and was making attempts to leave and I had to keep reminding him that we weren’t finished talking about everything. I couldn’t help but wonder with all the distractions if he got any of the information correct. He was definitely not focused on my estimate. A couple of weeks later he called me and said he had the estimate ready and would I come to their office so we could talk more details and I could pick out what I wanted in the way of countertops and cabinets. I told him that it made no sense to waste his time and mine if his bid was too high and would he please just give it to me over the phone. When he did I was shocked. It was double the other estimates I had received and to make matters worse, his bid was to only reface, not replace, my cabinets and the lower bids were for actual new cabinets. When I told him that he immediately became very defensive and the more he talked the closer he came to losing his temper. I’ve never experienced that kind of behavior with any vendor before and needed to get off the phone with him right away because his anger was increasing and there was no need to continue the conversation. What happened to customer service? He didn’t have to like what I said but he certainly didn’t need to take it personally. I eventually found a contractor I really liked and he put in brand new cabinets and countertops for $ 10,000 less than the bid I got from Floor to Ceiling.
