Fernando is Aaamazing!
Fernando has been grooming my little guy for the past 4 years. He is the most gentle, patient, professional groomer we’ve ever met. And I can say all the pictures posted on here speak for themselves, he’s very talented at what he does.
Toby is our first fur baby and he’s spoiled more then the average parent spoils their kid. Before meeting Fernando I would take Toby to a groomers in north highlands, she did a decent job, but he would never look like the Bichon’s in the pictures online and in the magazines. I tried Fabulous Lanais, and our first visit was our last. It was horrible, cuts and knicks, bad hair do, and he came home frightened by very move and noise. Finally a visit to PetSmart and we met Fernando.
Fernando is very talented, and listens to both pet parents and the fur babies. He knows exactly what I like on Toby, and he knows Toby’s tender spots, he knows what will aggravate him, for example he hates getting he nails trimmed. For the past 4 years, on every visit he takes the time out to greet and pet Toby, and to me that means a lot, it means he cares, and that my little guy is not just another hair cut to him. He doesn’t rush us in and out the door. Fernando is very good at doing exactly what you ask for, and when he has a question about a cut he doesn’t just go on shaving and cutting away, he contacts me to make sure its what I wanted for Toby.
There hasn’t be a time in the last 4 years that I had been worried about leaving my little guy with Fernando. If anything I worry if Toby is treating Fernando ok because he can be handful. He’s very kind and patient with his clients, and by the way he interacts with everyone, how he grooms our baby you can tell he has a passion for this.
I can assure you after your first interaction with Fernando you’ll completely understand what all the rave is about. I wouldn’t take Toby to anyone else except Fernando, and I highly recommend him. He won’t disappoint.

Fernando is the best. Our little Frankie (Bichon mix) is a handful. I know Frank gives Fernando a run for his money while grooming, and yet they both come out fine. Frankie isn’t stressed and Fernando has a sheepish smile. Fernando has an acute understanding of animals. I wouldn’t trust Frank with anyone else

Our first groomer place and never looked for any other place again. The best place for your dogs to have a haircut. very accommodating staff very good service. Just look for Fernando and he will take good care of your pet. He always surprises me and my wife with his work. We just tell him what we want and he will do the rest.

He’s been grooming my Moo (Fat Boy) since he was almost a year old. Moo is now 5 and my Ditto (Fat Princess) since I first got her 3 years ago. They’re both full breed Maltese.
I didn’t have a hard time finding a groomer for Moo. Every groomer Moo had did a decent job, it wasn’t until 5 years ago when I notice Moo looked amazing after a grooming session with Fernando. Moo gets groomed every 2 months and for Holidays and parties I throw.
I make sure my Moo get groomed before any BBQ, dinner parties and trips as well. The first time Moo got groomed by Fernando was the day I threw a birthday party for my kid brother and all the guest raved about how amazing his cut was! My mom wouldn’t stop cuddling with him and the guest at my party kept telling me he looked extra cute that night. Everyone kept trying to pick him up and pet him because he smelled so good and his fur was so soft!
That night for the first time I took a glance at Moo’s Petsmart report card, saw the name of the groomer and the rest is history. I normally would just toss the report card but I actually kept it for when I needed to schedule Moo’s future visits.
Got my Ditto 2 years later and she always been groomed by Fernando. I swear my Ditto gets very excited to see him. I don’t know what he does with her but my baby girl has a crush on him!
It’s pretty hard to find a good groomer, I really like the fact that Fernando keeps in touch, if he has any questions or notice anything he’ll give me a call to confirm before he goes off and does something different to my pet babies.
I had groomers who wanted to do something different with my pet babies, either a different cut, shave off more then I wanted and never picked up a phone to confirm with me first. With Fernando he would always give me a call first or if he couldn’t reach me he’ll call my sisters before he does anything different with my pet babies.
And I can’t tell you how stressful it is to pick up your babies and have them looking like NOTHING you expected or want. So far I don’t have that problem with Fernando.
As a pet parent you want to know everything that’s being done to you babies, not pick them up and be surprised and force to pay for a cut you DO NOT want.
That’s why no matter where Fernando goes so does my babies.
It’s very difficult to find a groomer that seems like they enjoy; making your babies look like a million bucks and also respecting the pet parent by communicating with us when something happens or need to be change during the grooming session. I don’t get no surprise cut or random shave I DID NOT ask for!
I always feel safe leaving my babies with him. They always come home looking amazing, smelling amazing and happy! I have recommend him to many of my friends and family. He takes his time to talk to his clients to understand what you would like to be done with your pet babies.
I had groomers in the past who seems to want to rush you out the door. Check in, Get out, call you when your pet babies are done. Maybe. Or they just expect you to come fetch your pet babies in 3 hours.
He’s polly the friendliest groomer you’ll ever meet too. Beside that’s it’s cheaper now! Petsmart charge you an arm and leg compare to Noah’s Ark! I use to spend about $ 65 to $ 70 on a dog! x that by 2 so I pay at least $ 130! For a bath, cut, special shampoo, teeth brushing, nail trimming, ears cleaning for 2 dogs!
Now I pay $ 40 for all that expect teeth cleaning which is only a extra $ 5! That’s $ 90 for 2 dogs! Under $ 100!
He also been grooming 2 generations of Maltese.
Moo and Ditto’s babies! Yup, we’re keeping him in the family!
