We specialize in Eyebrow threading, waxing, facials, makeup and hairstyles. We been in business 10 years. We just open our fourth location with our clients support and love. Threading is an ancient method of hair removal which originated in parts of India but has grown to be very popular in the us in the past several years. This technique used 100% cotton thread for eyebrow shaping, upper lip, chin and face removing the unwanted hair from root. Waxing can pull, stretch and even remove the delicate skin on your face, eventually facilitating in the development of wrinkles. Threading does none of this.

History

Established in 2005.

I Preet Kaur started this business back in 2005 I rented out a room in Hair obsession after getting my cosmetology license. I was so new in business didn’t really knew much my clients help me so much I can’t explain in words. All my advertising was word of mouth. Business started doing well and I had to asked my sister Aman my angel to move from Texas to help me out which was a huge change for her. She is a license cosmetologist as well. As of today we have 4 locations in Elk Grove area 12 certified threading Technicians, three hairstyles and 3 estheticians including me and my sister. All our staff is fully licensed and trained for Threading.

After graduating from Ogle one of the best beauty college in Texas I moved to elk grove to work with my sister Preet. 19 yrs old I was with big dreams, open minded, willing to learn and ready to start my career. I got my license transfered after 6 months additional education since each state has different requirements. To be real honest the day I got my license was the same day I started working at our very first location where back then we were renting two stations. I love working in the beauty industry and nothing would make me more happier than be able to help people look and feel their best With the blessing from God and with great support from our family and clients we have four locations in Elk Grove. Any one that knows me knows I love my clients and enjoy my work so much.

I always see Aman at this location or Preet at the one on EG-​Florin. Both of them always do an amazing job and I haven’t gone anywhere else since I started seeing them a year or two ago. I like bringing in a photo to give them an idea of my ideal brow look. Never leave disappointed :)

I was very disappointed with this location. I’ve had threading done for years and had small nicks/​cuts for the first time ever after coming here. My daughter had her eyebrows threaded and had cuts as well. We waited for Aman, since she is supposed to be the best at this location. So, I won’t be coming back.

This is the only place I would go to do my eyebrows. I only trust two people to do my eyebrows and she’s one of the two. She’s the real Tom Brady of waxing. On top of that, she will suggest what matches your face the most even if you’re unsure. Making an appointment would help, because she may be busy sometimes. I recommend everyone to go to her, I even got my girlfriend to have hers done here!

I come to this location quite often because it is close to my house, but to be honest it’s not my first choice. They have messed up my eye brows twice, and the last time it happened I was very upset and disappointed. The young lady did it way too fast and missed so many spots, I had to go back home and do it myself. It was a complete waste of time and money. The only woman who actually doesn’t mess up is the older lady with black hair, she takes her time and cleans up your eye brows really well.
Everyone says Preet does a great job so maybe next time I will call ahead to see if she is there. But for now, I will be looking into other locations.

This place is pretty Good I have had them threatens by preet and Aman and they are good. You don’t need an apt to come in they welcome walk ins. I have gone at different times of the day and they are never busy I’m always helped right away. I don’t give them 5 stars just because it seams like they do the same shape on every person no matter what your eyebrows look like… They go for the heavy arch I feel like and once I went in and asked for a clean up and she said «yeah» nodding her head yeah yeah and didn’t really do what I was looking for, it was fine but not what I wanted. I will still come here if the place down the street is busy. The place inside is very up to date, very fashionista feeing !

I am the pickiest person when it comes to eyebrows. Getting them done really boosts my confidence. I’ve gone to so many places over the United States and I haven’t seen anyone as talented as Aman. She has the arching skills and the creative eye to bring life to your brows. My friend goes to Preet and she loves her as well. Most gifted ladies in the eyebrow game hands down. They work hard and they’re humble. I’ve seen some make up done beautifully by Aman. Thinking about hiring her when I actually have a wedding. Make sure you make your appts people. Sometimes you have to wait a little white when you’re a walk in but it’s definitely worth the wait. You pay for what you get. Other shops maybe be cheaper but I’m all about quality. If that’s you, you should definitely check one of their locations out. Highly recommended!

The worst place to go to!!! I recently moved to Elk Grove and i was was thinking I should try this place. The girl with the red hair cut half my eyebrow off and made them way too thin and rushed the whole experience because she had a client coming in for hair. 0 stars!!! I’d rather make the extra drive to the one on Stockton Blvd then to ever go to this place again !!

This place is freaking ridiculous. They schedule appointments and the person isn’t here to do it. Then if you walk in. They won’t help you because someone else messed up so the person you want to do your eyebrows has to do whoever the appointment missed.
Seriously. How do you expect to be a business with this kind of customer service?
I usually tell all my friends to come here to get threaded but with this kind of service. I will make sure to recommend a place with much better customer service.

Unfortunately, as convenient as this location is, I will never go back again! I will stick to the Elk Grove florin location. Aman totally ruined my eyebrows. My eyebrows are completely two different shapes & one is noticeably smaller than the other. She was rushing the entire time (with no one waiting in line) while talking on the phone doing my eyebrows. Not only did she make them NOT proportional, but she also trimmed them crooked. So disappointing. I just went back to the Elk Grove florin location after letting them grow out a little & the lady there was amazing, she’s seen my eyebrows before & as I sat down she asked what happened to them cause she knew someone messed them up. She did a great job in helping me get them back to how they were before!

If I could give more stars I would! Aman is amazing at threading, she really has a gift. I have horribly scarce eyebrows and everywhere I go, the person is always scared to wax them and they end up messing them up. Well not Aman, she recognizes me and knows exactly how to shape my brows. I once went to their Elk Grove florin location and Aman was there and helped the lady who did my brows and gave her tips. I’ve been coming for a year and I seriously don’t see myself going elsewhere.

Aman is absolutely amazing!!! I’ve been going here since they first opened the Laguna location and I’ve never been disappointed with my brows!
When I first started here, I had thin brows and a weird shape from waxing, but Aman re-​shaped and helped my brows get thicker.

I had my full face threaded here a few days ago (including eyebrows. Aman did my brows and jazzy (I think) finished my face. I absolutely love that aman evened my brows out. I am very satisfied and will start coming to her for my brows from now on.
Yesterday I got my makeup and hair done by aman also. It was for an engagement party. The total cost was 130. Which is a very reasonable price for the professional makeup application and hair. I loved my makeup and hair. Aman was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. She got me glammed up in 2 hours. This is my place for hair, makeup, and eyebrows now :-) thank you aman!

I used to hate eyebrow threading because to me it hurts. My sister however recommended that I go to Eyebrow Threading in Elk Grove next to Bel Air on Elk Grove Florin Rd n Calvine Rd ask for Preet. Let’s just say no one has ever giving me what I wanted until I met her. I love my brows and I’ll never get my brows done anywhere else. She gave me a very natural arch, not too much just perfect! My local go-​to for threading. Located inside a Safeway shopping center, between a water store and a Chinese restaurant. Clean, bright, minimalist décor. The ladies work quickly but efficiently. All very nice, if not very quiet in demeanor.
I can’t say more then that other than I come here as often as I can and as often as my Frida Kahlo brows demand it. Okay they’re not that bad but still.

Before coming here I’ve only ever had my eyebrows done once (I got them waxed at the Benefit Brow Bar). I’ve never gone back to get my eyebrows done because I’m lazy and having my eyebrows done isn’t a necessity to me. Well I came here to get my eyebrows threaded for a friend’s wedding based on Leah R.‘s recommendation and now having my eyebrows threaded will become a necessity in my beauty regimen.
I was extremely apprehensive to get my eyebrows threaded because another friend of mine had told me a horror story about her experience with another place where she came out of the salon with basically no eyebrows. Every time I’ve gone, Aman has been quick but doesn’t rush working on my eyebrows. My eyebrows have always come out looking great and I’ve even gotten compliments on them. The first time I came though I did come out bleeding a little bit (hence the 4 stars) but because I have a pretty high tolerance for pain it wasn’t too big a deal to me.
Aman is great and if any of you are apprehensive about coming here DON’T BE. Aman has such a soothing voice and she’s very helpful.
