Our Goals:
It is our goal to provide an opportunity for children in the community to experience theater arts in a safe, professional environment. Our unique approach to childhood development fosters self-esteem, confidence, poise, and creativity. Students will flourish in an environment filled with quality leadership, professional instruction and caring individuals.
At Encore! we offer classes from newborn through adult.
Even the tiniest dancer can learn to appreciate music.
History
Established in 1985.
— Encore! School of Performing Arts has made a commitment to support our surrounding neighborhoods and the Sacramento area.
In 2007, Encore! was nominated for the prestigious People Helping People Award. Although not a current recipient of the award, the honor of being nominated speaks volumes to the importance of teaching our young dancers how to reach the community through volunteerism, using their abilities, and getting actively involved.
Encore! supports ACS Relay For Life annually and in 2006, raised $ 13,800 to help the American Cancer Society. Encore! continues to support ACS by serving on the volunteer committee, raising Team funds and performing at the local Relay event held in May each year.
Encore! is also an advocate of Project Ride, an organization that offers therapeutic recreational horseback riding instruction to over 470 riders with disabilities in the greater Sacramento area.
