Elk Clean and Shiney

I will need to reduce my rating down, owner confirmed an appointment and then canceled indicating he double booked, referred me to someone else who also canceled the day before because she has a «very important client,» that she forgot about. So in other words, I am not an important client? The initial service I received was 5 star, however I am disappointed in the lack of professionalism with the owner.

WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THE OWNER AGAIN! ONE STAR FOR THE OWNER AND 5 STARS FOR THE CLEANING LADIES!
The owner of this business showed up at my house for an estimate and we had a really good impression of him and his prices, which were quoted at $ 22.50/per hr. We agreed on 2 cleaning ladies coming over today and cleaning my home. He told me the initial cleaning will take longer. This morning he showed up with the 2 very nice cleaning ladies (I thought he wanted to make sure they do a good job for the first time and maybe give them a hand). Please note that I only asked for 2 people and he NEVER MENTIONED IT WAS $ 22.50 PER MAN HR. OMG, WAS THIS BUSINESS MISREPRESENTED… I asked him for a contract that explains what they clean and the agreement of the price and HE SAID THEY DONT WORK THAT WAY. The ladies did a great job, but they didn’t finish cleaning… he had to leave and told me that I owe him $ 405.00 (from 9am to 2pm). Even though it is only 5 hrs, he counted 6 hrs times 3 people times $ 22.50/hr. OMG!!! This is a SCAM to get into your house without a written contract and charge you this much $$$$$$!!! I wanted to pay the ladies so I wrote him a check for $ 200 for 4.5 hrs for their work, even though my home office was not cleaned. He now threatens to take me to court! ASK FOR A WRITTEN CONTRACT. THE OWNER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN THIS BUSINESS. BE AWARE!
