My business specializes in in-​home cat care in Elk Grove, CA. My services include the following:

*One or two visits per day

*Petting, playing, litter box cleaning

*Food and water replenishing

*Complimentary key pick-​up/​drop-​off, newspaper and mail collection, plant watering and garbage can take out/​pull in

*Dispensing medications via Pill Pockets or cutting pill (s) and putting in chewable treats, as well as liquid meds. I do not administer injections or put pills down cats’ throats.

*Vet trips if/​when necessary

I am bonded, insured and a member of Pet Sitters International. I also care for fish and do dog walking.

History

Established in 2014.

As a life-​long animal lover, I have cared for the pets of family and friends informally over the years. Last year the opportunity came up to inherit a good friend’s cat clients and I couldn’t pass it up. I have been pet sitting since October 2014 and love it. There’s nothing better than looking forward to seeing my kitty clients. Their owners are wonderful people and I am thrilled to look after my fellow cat lovers’ animals.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Sacramento, CA, Vanessa now calls Elk Grove home. She grew up in a feline-​filled household and has owned cats for the last 10 years. She is an avid supporter of cat rescue groups including River City Cat Rescue and Alley Cat Allies, and also rescued a feral cat that took up residence in her backyard. In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys walking, spending time with family and friends, dining out, reading and watching foreign films.
