Welcome to Backs in Motion ChiroSpa, the only Elk Grove chiropractic spa facility. Our unique chiropractic/​spa experience focuses on the realigning of your back along with incorporating therapeutic massage to help bring you back to your rejuvenated self. You will find our treatments both comfortable and effective. We offer a comprehensive array of chiropractic services to help you and have a friendly as well as knowledgeable staff to help meet your needs. We provide care for back, neck, hip, shoulder, knee and other injuries caused by car accidents, work or sports. We also treat general conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, TMJ, headaches, and backaches.

History

Established in 2006.

Dr. Andrew O. Williams has been practicing chiropractic in Elk Grove since 2006. He spent his undergrad years at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and received his doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. He is board certified and president of the California Chiropractic Association Sacramento Valley District, BNI Elk Grove Harvesters, and an active member of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Williams graduated from Laguna Creek High School and went to the University of Nebraska for his Undergraduate degree. While at Nebraska, Dr. Williams broke his back while performing as a member of the Cornhusker Spirit Squad. As part of his recovery, he received chiropractic treatment. His treatments sparked an interest in what soon became his passion of chiropractic. Dr. Williams pursued his dream at one of the most prestigious Chiropractic Colleges in the country, Palmer College Chiropractic West. Upon graduating, Dr. Williams moved back home to Elk Grove so he could give back to the community that was so helpful to his development. Dr. Williams has been a chiropractor in Elk Grove since 2006, and is currently working with many of the local high schools performing on-​site physicals for athletes. He is an active member of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce, and is President of the the California Chiropractic Association Sacramento Valley District, and the BNI Elk Grove Harvesters.

TERRIBLE customer service from Dr.Williams.
I had called several times to speak to someone in regards to a groupon I purchased. Which was a gift to someone who never redeemed it. When I asked if there was any assistance they can give in regards to the groupon, I was directed to Dr.Williams. When I spoke with Dr. Williams on the phone the first time in regards to the groupon, initially he was understanding. The second phone call which was taken place on Wednesday the 23rd of December, he catches a severe attitude with me. I asked him several questions in regards to alternative ways I can redeem the groupon and during me talking he tells me to «stop» talking. Saying he has told me several times and he no longer wants to explain it. Once I told him I would bring awareness to how he was talking to me, which I found completely disrespectful, then he changes his attitude.
Even if Dr. Williams decided to redeem my groupon. Solely because the way I was treated on the phone with Him is a reason I will never go here, and I will neither recommend anyone to come here.

My daughter and husband have both been treated well by Dr. Williams so when my neck kept hurting I called. I was extremely lucky to get a same day appointment. The staff and Dr. Williams were very thorough and helpful. My neck felt better right away. Everything was explained before anything was done. Very professional!

Worst experience I’ve EVER had at the hands of a «professional»! After being seen for 6 months for my back injury from my accident, and to be treated as horribly as I was today, is the most devastating thing I’ve ever felt. I’M NEVER GOING BACK!!! The lack of professionalism and the betrayal of trust is just too great! If I could give no stars I would!

Dr. Williams is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to! I have not felt better in years. He is extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed a problem that I have been suffering from for years. I have been to other chiropractors but none have given me the relief I have experienced with Dr. Williams. I have also had the pleasure of having facials done by Carol. She is amazing and my skin has never looked better!

Dr. Williams is absolutely wonderful! I know a lot of businesses offer promotions for Unilocal reviews, however that is not the case here– this is a legitimate review free of personal benefit!
I have two children and recently injured my back moving my youngest car seat into the back of the car. My back instantly locked up and I was in total and complete agony. I went to urgent care, but was not better after 4 days. I made an appointment with Dr. Williams with some hesitation because I was not a huge believer in chiropractic medicine because of previous bad experiences. I have seen Dr. Williams now for three visits and I already notice more flexibility in my low back. Not to mention he is just the nicest guy!
I referee my husband and when we all can in as a family he ended up offering to adjust our toddler and infant who is 3.5 months old. Our littlest one fell fast asleep after her adjustment, she seemed to really enjoy the adjustment (the pressure is super light for babies). Our toddler was not going for it as she is very shy, but Dr. Williams was very patient with her.
I highly recommend Dr. Williams for anyone with back pain!

Dr. Williams and his staff are great. I found him because my employer recently added a chiropractic benefit to our health insurance. I have had back problems for many years since I work on a computer all day. He spent a lot of time taking my history. His adjustments, recommended stretches and icing frequency have made a big difference, along with «the thumper» and the muscle stimulation they provided me as part of the treatment. The chirospa is very clean, relaxing and welcoming. His assistants, Carrie and Bree are great. I have been to quite a few chiropractors in the last 30 years and he ranks up there as one of my favorite two.

Dr. Williams is the best there is. I am in my 60’s, slipped and fell in a grocery store injuring my wrist. Went to MD“s who couldn’t find anything wrong. My wrist, arm, elbow, back, and hips hurt badly as a result of the injury. Dr. Williams suspected a crack to a small wrist bone and proceeded as if it were cracked even though we couldn’t get an MD to verify it. Sure enough at exactly the time Dr. Williams predicted, the injury started to radically improve. His treatments eliminated the pain and I was back to normal.
He has helped me, my wife, and two daughters with various muscle and back problems. His in depth exams and analysis lead him to the right treatment. He is fantastic.
