Very long wait times; the dr I saw was not very knowledgable. Wait time to even see the dr is about an hour and a half (not fabricating, I’ve been here four times and each time I leave the office is 2 hours after my apt time started). Dr didn’t remember me as a patient (which is fine, they see a lot of people on a daily basis) but what got to me is that she fabricated her clinical notes for me, and then tried to tell me I was the one lying. I work in a doctors office, I understand how busy it can get and how hard it can be to remember things about certain patients, but this office is ridiculous. Instead of working with her colleagues to help her figure out a course of treatment for my dry eye, the dr simply said «I have no idea why this isn’t working; if you want to get a second opinion that’s fine» (didn’t realize I needed her permission to do that…) She then mentioned punctal plugs to her assistant (to have her submit to my insurance to see if they’re covered or not), didn’t say one thing about the plugs to me, and told me to make a follow up apt in 3 months. Two weeks later I get a call saying my insurance will cover the punctal plugs, do I want to schedule an apt, to which I said no as I had no idea what they were since the dr was too incompetent to explain anything to her patient. Save the headache and avoid going here. If you have to go here, then at least avoid Dr. Shah.

Horrible, uncaring and incompetent staff. Super long waits for appointments. Would NOT recommend.

Exceedingly long wait time. Staff is exceedingly rude and asked inappropriate questions. Upon entering the exam room, it was laughable. The doctor and her helper had been googling my husbands condition. The fact that Google replaced a medical degree was very apparent upon the beginning of the exam. The doctor lied and stated that they were familar with his condition then proceeded to ask innappropriate questions and tell him he didnt know enough about his own disease! Rude staff. Again far over 2.5 hours to see an eye doctor who needs google to do their job is beyond ridiculous.

I called to set up an appointment. After waiting on hold for 6 minutes, I was on the phone with a real person. I asked them, when is the next open appointment for a new patient at the Hoffman Estates location. She replied «There are no open appointments at that location this week.» And then we sat in a minute of silence. She didn’t ask me if there were any dates I wanted or if there was another location that would work. And then I said thanks and hung up.
1) Lady, you didn’t answer my question.
2) Your front line sucks, I thought I didn’t like where I currently go, but that takes the cake.
I did like how the hold system let you know which caller in line you were. 1 star worth.
