So this place is disgusting I read through the comments before booking and ignored them I thought oh well can’t be that bad the check in process was cool the guy was pretty nice didn’t have any problems with that when you get the room key you drive over to your room location and this place at night is very sketchy very sketchy people and weird atmosphere when I first walked in the room I was like ew the sheets were dirty with stains and the tub had a little black I mean I understand it’s only 50⁄60 bucks but it’s still money you’re wasting so I called the front desk and told the guy this wasn’t what I expected and he said come down I got a refund and went straight to motel6 in glenview which was much better. I understand it’s a cheap room but I refuse to sleep in a dirty bed with hair or crumbs no no

Nowhere near O’Hare. Airport shuttle only comes every hour in a generic white van. You will have a difficult time reading the tiny Motel 6 placard as it whizzes by at breakneck speeds behind large buses and other vans in the darkness. The shuttle driver will not bother to call your cell phone even though you specifically requested a shuttle pickup. Also, do not stay here unless you like bed bugs. The manager blames the bed bug problem on foreigners from the Middle East, LOL. He refuses to take responsibility for his own problem and justifies it by claiming that every hotel in the area has the same problem, which is a lie.

If you’re looking for a cheap, clean motel outside of Chicago, this is it. $ 60(before tax) on 5÷23÷15. It’s been modernized with faux wood floors, flatscreen TVs, newer sheets/bedspreads/etc. I was in a handicapped room, so I can’t speak for all rooms(maybe just this one was barely used), but as far as I could tell, no one had even been in the room before. A big upgrade from the last time I stayed in/near Chicago and paid just a few dollars more this time(that previous room was disgusting – filthy, sink wouldn’t drain, wall outlets didn’t work, had to put own blankets on top of their gross ones). The only downsides were paid Wi-Fi($ 3/night. We just used our cell phone hot spots instead), the(firm) bed was a full instead of a queen as advertised, and soundproofing. We heard very loud periodic bangs on the ceiling from the people above us and at least two sirens within the 12 hours we spent there, as well as talking outside. But the room itself was great, and we’d stay again if we’re out that way again.

BEDBUGS!!! A disgusting toilet of a room. Every aspect of the room was gross. From the moldy wash rag to the bits of bed bug feces in between the«clean sheets». So repulsive I left.

I wasn’t expecting anything amazing but I really didn’t expect the staff to be rude. I can handle the room being subpar but when I walked in to check in I felt like a burden. Not a customer. We won’t be staying here again when we fly out of Ohare! Rooms are decent. Our sink faucet was broken and water sprayed every where when we turned it on. Old tvs but we didn’t watch it.

While I wasn’t expecting service comparable to the Ritz Carlton, I was expecting my room to be clean. I think that is a concern of anyone that pays to say in a dwelling. This however was not the case. We just needed a place to stay overnight to catch a flight at the airport, so I thought, well it says«modernized» lets try it! WRONG! The floors were not clean, and it was evident due to the dirt on the vinyl«wood» flooring that no doubt would have turned even Tarzans feet black but I didn’t take off my sandals until I went to bed(which I did completely clothed). To make matters worse, the sheets were pilling, and the cherry on top of this delicious sundae was the dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door covered in someone else’s mascara and foundation. I attempted to bring this to the very rude employees attention but they just mocked me in their native language. I WILLNEVER stay at another motel 6 again. P. S how modern is a 13 inch analog TV? Its 2014LCD’s are about $ 80. When you are charging $ 50+ per room a night you could easily buy new TV’s in under a month for the whole place. Not to mention the desk and chair that looks like they may have borrowed it from the set of The Babysitters Club in the early 90’s. As far as Wi-fi I didn’t even attempt to pay for that because I was pretty convinced that wouldn’t work as well. I wouldn’t even give this place one star, but I think that Unilocal requires at least one. Pay the extra(in my case) $ 50 due Pride weekend and stay somewhere that’s tagline doesn’t refer to a light being left on for you.

The weather at O’Hare Airport caused all of the hotels around it to be full and rather than sleep on a bench, we went to this Motel 6. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind to me and my 18 year old son at 2:30am. The room was very clean — no complaints from here. They also were very helpful at getting us a cab the next morning even with the pouring rain.
