RDS Paving & Sealcoating has provided paving, sealcoating, line painting, asphalt repairs, crack sealing, concrete work, snow removal for commercial and residential properties since 1970. RDS started in 1970 in Middleburg, PA. In 2008 we opened an office in Elizabethtown, PA.

Business Owner

I first got introduced into the paving business when I was a teacher. During the summers I would help my father in law and I liked the potential of the business. My career first started as a student at Penn State University where I earned a bachelor in Education. I spent 3 years teaching 5^th grade in the Elizabethtown and Harrisburg area. During my third year of teaching I got deployed to Iraq with the Army. Upon returning from my deployment, I had the opportunity to invest in my fathers business instead of returning to teaching. I leaped at the opportunity! I bought Rod’s Driveway Service and I incorporated the business in 2008 opening a paving and sealcoating company in Elizabethtown, PA. The business is now called RDS Paving & Sealcoating.
