Jenkins-​Essex Construction offers general contractors construction management design build, metal buildings central Kentucky. Jenkins-​Essex Construction, Inc. has been engaged in Design/​Build for over 35 years and was one of the first to utilize this innovative method to develop quality projects uniquely suited to the client’s needs. Our thirty-​five year affiliation with Butler Manufacturing, the preeminent manufacturer of pre-​engineered metal buildings, coupled with our ninety plus years of experience in conventional construction allows us to design and build the RIGHT building for our client. In the role of Construction Manager, Jenkins-​Essex Construction serves as the Owner’s representative in dealing with all phases of the project.

History

Established in 1904.

Since 1904, when Neff Jenkins and William Essex purchased a lumber mill, Jenkins-​Essex has been serving Central Kentucky with quality, expertise and dedication. Our longevity is testament to our capabilities. We believe that our success has come through honesty, integrity, knowledge and hard work. Our objective is to build a superior product at a fair price.

Not only is our experience lengthy, it is diverse. With over 200 years of combined experience on our professional team, there is virtually no situation or scenario that we have not previously encountered. We pursue opportunities in Design/​Build, Construction Management and traditional General Contracting. We have built almost every type of structure imaginable with vast experience in industrial, institutional and commercial projects.
