We specialize in quality meats and exceptional customer service. We make over 50 varieties of fresh sausage and some of the best Chicken Salad in Lancaster. We also take pride in our fresh local produce and the delicous meals in Jane’s Café.

History

Established in 1932.

Darrenkamp’s was founded by George Darrenkamps in the front room of his house on Union Street in Lancaster City. The business expanded next door in 1948 and we opened a second store in Willow Street in 1985. We now have three locations in Mt. Joy, Elizabethtown, and Willow Valley.

Cute grocery store. Got some specialty dark chocolate bulk item. It was delicious. Extremely expensive, but you can tell the quality of the home-​made goodness. Staff was very friendly.

I enjoy going to Darrenkamp’s when Giant is too busy or I just want a change of scenery. It’s a smaller market, a good deal of variety. Good store-​made soups and chilis, decent selection of fresh veggies and fruit although occasionally they don’t have out-​of-​season fruits.
