History

Established in 1978.

This practice was started in 1978 when Dr. Charley Ward first came to Elizabethton. Dr. Warlick joined it in 1992 and after a period of practicing in Phoenix, AZ has now returned to continue the great care that Dr. Ward has provided so many here in East Tennessee!

Dr. James Warlick grew up in Augusta, Ga. He attended chiropractic school in Atlanta Georgia where he graduated with honors as a senior intern. There he got exposed to the Gonstead Technique and went on to become a Gonstead Diplomate through the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society. He was then invited to be a technique instructor for Gonstead Seminar where he taught around the country on the campuses of every chiropractic college. He then went on to practice with Dr. Charley Ward in Elizabethton TN. Dr. Ward is renowned in the profession for his passion and skill. He was a friend of Dr. Gonstead and learned his technique directly from him. Dr. Warlick took a leave from Tennessee for 16 years and was away in Arizona building a very successful Gonstead practice in Phoenix. He has now returned to East Tennessee to continue the Gonstead Legacy that Dr. Ward began here.
