History

Established in 2013.

Wilfer was founded by two woodworkers who wanted to mill their own custom lumber for their unique furniture made entirely of Colorado Forest Products! Almost immediately we started cutting for other woodworkers too and Wilfer Mobile Sawmill was born! Today Wilfer dedicates its resources and equipment to cutting exclusively for local businesses and craftsmen who require a little more attention and creativity from our sawyer than they would get anywhere else!

Business Owner

Scott is a Colorado native, Fort Lewis College alumni and sole owner /​operator of Wilfer Mobile Sawmill. With a background in furniture design and build, Scott has re-​envisioned custom saw milling to fit the many unique challenges wood workers face. Scott also has an on-​line presence as host of his YouTube channel, «You Can Build That.» The channel features DIY projects including woodworking, home electrical, remodel work, chainsaw carving, and of course, saw milling!
