Absolutely atrocious. This sorry excuse for a state agency series as evidence of the utter contempt by the Christie administration for the working-​class Americans who unfortunate enough to live in New Jersey.
A phone call to this agency ended up in a 2.5-hour hold time before an employee told me that nothing could be done for my issue unless I came to the office in person.
So, I took the day off to attend to this matter, only to find a sign that said the office was closed.
Asking around, I was told that the office was closed because its two employees had not shown up for work.
«Because of the snow?» I asked.
«Sometimes they just don’t show up,» came the reply.
Unbelievable.
Gov. Chris Christie is an embarrassment to have a state agency operate like something out of a banana republic.
