Today Nailspa

I have been going here for several years, and I used to really like it. The owners are great, and there are some excellent nail techs as well. Unfortunately, there is an issue that I wish the owners would address. I have seen other comments in reviews on other sites about this same person, so I know it is not just me. One of the nail techs, Tina, has more than once cut my skin or filed away the skin on the side of my fingers or toes. She just is not careful about it. I am not one to complain, so I’ve always given her the benefit of the doubt and never refuse to have her do my nails if she is who is available. I will not be able to do that anymore. I had a pedicure with her 2 weeks ago and it was a disaster. I keep the length of my toenails to the tip of my toes, and always have them filed straight across. For some reason, she cut my nails very short, and cut out the corners of my toenails making them look narrow and rounded. If it was just that they looked bad, I could deal with it knowing they will grow out. Unfortunately, I am now dealing with an infected ingrown toenail due to the way she cut the nail. I am trying to take care of it myself, but am to the point where I need to go to a doctor for it. If the shop owners read this, please address these issues. One bad tech will not only drive away customers, but is also a health and safety issue. I don’t want to change shops, but I cannot allow her to work on me ever again.

Love this Spa ! Kenny and his group are awesome ! Me and my daughter have been going for over 2 yrs now and we always get perfect nails & awesome pedis ! This is the pace to go

I’m fairly satisfied with the no-​chip mani and spa pedi I receive. I pay $ 60 for both services. I have been a patron of this salon, off and on, for about 3 years.
I have never felt like the nail tech was trying to rush. In fact, I will forever ask for Lee, the male tech. I feel that, no matter how busy the salon is, he takes his time and has a very gentle touch. The owners are super sweet and ALWAYS remember me, even if I have been away for months. They don’t make you feel like they are doing YOU a favor, like I feel at some other salons. They are genuinely happy to have my business. This all, of course, is only MY humble opinion ;)

I went there for a pedi and mani on Monday (8÷4÷2014). I was in and out of there in less than 40 mins or so… I felt rushed and I wasn’t at all in a hurry. More ladies started to filter in the longer I was there and the faster the service went. I understand time is money and so are people that walk in but I was here first and should be able to enjoy my service and not be hurried along. You know its bad when the customer can feel or knows your moving fast to get to the next person. I work in the service industry– I’m an esthetican so I understand moving fast to be able to service all clients in a timely manner. But I don’t make my clients feel rushed nor give them a bad service because I have walk in’s waiting.
This was my 3^rd time there. I don’t think I will be going back… I tried, I wanted to like it but he guy that I had was super quick (which isn’t always a good thing), he never asked me which pedicure I wanted. Also, in there menu it says that there is a scrub that comes with the basic pedi– NOT once have I gotten that with my pedi service the 3 times I have been nor have they asked if I wanted it-​what is up with that?
The only good thing was that he painted my nails really well. But the rest of the services I feel he fell flat.
I would of appreciated being asked what service I wanted instead of him doing his own thing.

I went in with my friend today for a pedicure and the lady I had was very rough! She was a tiny older lady. She filed more of my skin then my nails. She would move my feet around without telling me that it needed to go up more or if it needed to go in the water. When it came to the massage she wasn’t rough, but was rough with the rest of the pedi. She didn’t say hi or bye or even make a small talks. Next time I’m there I’ll make sure I don’t get her. The place is very nice and clean the other workers there seem very nice.
