we have tried to contact this company twice to get an estimate. all I know is if they won’t return a call to set up an appointment what kind of service will I get when the job is done. we’ll spend our money with someone that wants the business.

I was surprised to see that there wasn’t a Unilocal for Texas Landscape Curbing as they did such a good job for us, I just assumed there would be a huge following. Anyway, there wasn’t and I hope to fix that discrepancy. I’m not sure how I found the listing for TLC, I think google. Regardless, i called several(all seemed nice) but as it was it was springtime, everyone was busy, TLC included. Anyway, Mike(the owner) had another job in our neighborhood(Teravista) and said that he would try to work me in along with that job. He came by our house to estimate the job and the price he quoted me was less than I thought I would pay based on some of the other curbers’ web estimators. He showed up at the time he said and they completed the job quickly and with almost no damage to my existing lawn or flowerbeds. They cleaned up the job site and left my lawn in pristine condition. Granted, the lawn had to be cut back a bit to allow the curbing but that grew back quickly. Curbs looked great! Many compliments from the neighbors Mike was a great guy to work with, very personable and hard working, but the thing that brings him to the top was the above and beyond service. When Mike finished the job we contracted for, he came to the door and said, I’ve got some mix left over and didn’t want to just waste it, so did I mind if he extended one of the flower beds at no charge? The extension actually made the flowerbed look better than our original plan and ended up making lawn mowing easier.(Thanks Mike) Obviously, you’ll need to do your own due diligence, getting estimates and all that. However, I’ve done mine. Next time, I’m just going to go directly to Mike & Christy Girod at Texas Landscape Curbing. Good, honest people.
