Had my car serviced at Kia in Elgin fantastic dealership Colin in the service department took care of me friendly courteous can’t say enough for the dealership very happy with their service Department

Last year in January I went here looking for a Kia Forte red or white with tan interior, they didn’t have it at this location and so the sales guy I had said I promise we will get it tomorrow (Saturday). Tomorrow 3 o’clock rolls around and I get a call saying they wouldn’t get it till Monday or Tuesday. Bullshit so I went to the Naperville location got it for the same price and they had both red and white so I got to pick the one I liked the most! So go to the Naperville Kia don’t even waste your time here

We bought a new 2015 Optima EX and had a trade-​in vehicle also. We do our research ahead of time and know what we want and what our car is worth. Plus have been thru the dealer/​customer routine many times.
All the Staff are most accommodating, are very friendly, and concerned about you. They take enough time with you so you understand things, and do not rush you. The receptionists are also very nice to deal with.
Seems there are a few new members on this Kia staff other than what I see on their website. Saw a number of complaints about this dealership and some former staff members, but we have nothing but good things to say about everyone at this location.

Overall, we had a good experience at this Elgin Kia and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I personally would NEVER buy a car from this Kia again. My family has been buying cars from Kia for as long as I can remember. My mother, my father and I (I purchased 2) all purchased cars within a few months. We went in to get a RELIABLE car of my brother. It was insisted that the Jeep would be perfect for my brother because it was «reliable». Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. They had my brothers car more than he did. They claimed there was nothing wrong. It was sent over to Jeep and they claimed there was nothing wrong (if the check engine light is consistently on, I am sure there is a problem.) We took my brother to a different dealership to trade in his car because there was so much wrong with the car and Kia wouldn’t even admit to a problem. Even after all of this we liked Kia cars, so my sister went to buy a car (I was there with her). She traded in her old car for a 2013 Kia Sportage. Our sales man swore up and down that we wouldn’t be able to afford a brand new car (even though I was cosigning). After we got home and looked over everything and realized that we purchased a used car for the same price as a new one. When my dad confronted the sales man (with us standing right there) about telling us we wouldn’t be able to afford a brand new car he claimed he kept trying to convince us to purchase a new one and not a used one. Why in the world would we decide on a used car instead of a new one? That just doesn’t make sense. Kia cars are great, but unfortunately with everything this place has put us through we will never purchase from this Kia again.

This is my 2^nd Kia, but 2^nd Kia dealership. Not only did Napleton’s Elgin Kia beat everyone’s price (by a good amount) they have the coolest staff I’ve ever got work with. Josh was my salesman and put no pressure on me at all. He was very chill, friendly and knowledgable about Kia vehicles. Mike the sales manager has quite the presence in a room! Hearing him talk just makes me smile. Johnathan in finance went above and beyond to make sure they got me my car at the price I needed. And Gill the service manager is super nice and shook my hand and said «welcome to the family.»
Kia has come a long way in 5 years. I highly recommend a Kia from these guys.
Oh and if you’re a dog person, the owner rescued a dog and it hangs out in the dealership! So cute!

Our salesman, Pete, tried really hard to figure out a solution for our current situation which is VERY MUCH appreciated. Thank you, Pete!
HOWEVER, manager Mike was not a pleasant man to work with and will most likely keep us from returning. Which is a shame because although this time didn’t work out, we have done business with this Kia before. We were only about $ 75 off from what Kia was quoting us versus where we need our payment needs to be and Mike was so rude to us about it. Acted like we were scum, like we were dumb for the decision we were making (which was actually the best decision to be made) to the point I was shaking because he was so mean by the time we returned to our car.
