History

Established in 2012.

Realized in 2012, Love In Action Travel, LLC began when founder Tammie Ferguson completed her first Habitat for Humanity Global Village Trip to Dominican Republic. During this trip she decided that she would continue to live out her passion for serving and helping those in need while also enjoying her love for traveling and experiencing different cultures and locations. Each year since 2013, she has recruited and led a team of international volunteers to help build Habitat for Humanity homes in Latin America during the month of June.

In an effort to do similar work stateside, Ferguson decided to create Love In Action Travel, LLC in 2015 to provide voluntourism opportunities in North America. Partners with Love In Action Travel rest assured that their travel experience will be adventurous, affordable, exciting, positive, and purpose-​driven. They receive personalized and professional service while exploring a different place, rejuvenating their spirits, minds and bodies.
