This place is a Dump! It stinks! It’s old and nasty! The bathrooms are disgusting! The TV is low-def and the remote doesn’t work worth a damn. Everything is just dirty and gross. This hotel needs a bulldozing!

Very disgusting stayed on 7−3−15 and it smelled through out and was very dirty including bathroom in which I didn’t want to shower. The breakfast was pathetic and there was syrup on floors and counter. Bed was uneven and the whole place gave me the willies. Josh the manager does not return phone calls and when I talked to him, he would not do anything about it. This is not the place to stay if you are a human! I will contact my credit card company and put this in dispute and the Health Dept. needs to be notified! It apperaed to be a dangerous place as I looked at other customers that stayed there.

We stayed in one of their regular rooms, not a suite. The room was nice and the king-sized bed was comfortable. The free wi-fi was consistently at around 30 mbps which I found amazing. Especially since I just spent two nights at a downtown Chicago hotel where I could«upgrade» from their free 1 mbps service to a «premium» 4 mbps service for $ 20 a night. The person at the front desk was very friendly when we arrived a bit late — around 10:30. The whirlpool was out of service but the pool was available. The bath towels were strangely small. Only a little bigger than a hand towel. Overall, I thought this was a very high value hotel and would return. The breakfast was pretty nice, although the juice machine did not work

This star is ONLY for the very nice girl that helped my boyfriend and I the next morning during check out time. My boyfriend travels ALOT. He was coming from California going to New Jersey. So ideally I thought it would be nice if he stayed longer than planned and had a bed to sleep in for the night. I shouldn’t have chosen Lexington. I booked his room through and considering it was about $ 50+ cheaper I thought I was getting a deal. The site said PETFRIENDLY-$ 25FOREACHPET. I was going to pay the up charge to keep my boyfriends cat there. So I payed and received a confirmation number. Awesome. When we get there, nobody is on the counter but there was a sign saying there was a 10minute break for the person to be back. After 20min, a gentleman comes out and tells us to go in. I give him my name and confirmation number and he said there was nothing on the system. So I went on my phone and showed him the booking online but the only thing I got was«if its not in the system I cannot give you a room.» After that he suggested to buy a room with two queen beds for $ 85, when I had BOUGHT a room already with one king bed. So then he coincidentally found a piece of paper with a print out of my confirmation number, no apologies, nothing. As my boyfriend is signing the papers, he sees there is a statement saying no pets. When I tell the guy why did the website say pets allowed, he just shook his head and said«no pets». It seemed like an hour of that ordeal and both my boyfriend and I were extremely sleepy and just wanted to sleep. We head to the room after putting the kitty in the car since I was going to take him home with me. The bed is undone, it looked like someone got up and left just before we went into the room. I go upfront and after AGAIN waiting for the guy to show up front he tells me that there will be no room service until 11am. Very pissed off I go back into the room. Luckily my boyfriend had extra blankets so he slept on top of one of his blankets and had another one covering him. What the hell kind of hotel do you have to do that??? Anyway, I put my glasses next to the lamp to take off my makeup and when I grab them again, there’s a chewed gum stuck on them. GROSS! I ask my bf if that was his gum and he said he had no packs on him. Even more gross. I go back and ask for a refund but NOW the gentleman says he can’t give a refund because it was through the website. What does that have to do with our experience??? Absolutely never EVER going back for any circumstance and advising all to never visit either. If I could give negative stars I would.

This hotel has some minor cosmetic flaws but could easily be fixed and be a 4 star hotel. It’s conveniently located by I-90 on hwy 25 in Elgin. Features a indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Very nice, spacious, and comfortable rooms with upgrades to a modern scene. Restaurants surround the area and is about 5 minutes from downtown Elgin.
