As I stated in my previous review, I am a long time donor. I have donated platelets 106 times since May 2010. But Heartland has changed their donor rewards program for the second time in the last two years. And the new changes cut the rewards in half compared to last year. The cuts are so bad that for donating 20 times, spending nearly two hours each time, you only receive $ 125 compared to $ 300 last year. I emailed them to make sure I understood the new program and they confirmed the changes.
Not much of a loyalty program if the company is not loyal to the people who provide them (virtually free) with the product that they sell to hospitals.
