Established in 2006.

Attorney Battista was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 2006. After working in insurance defense, she left to become an equity partner in the law firm of Argento Law Group, P.C. to concentrate her practice exclusively in plaintiff’s personal injury claims. In 2014, Argento Law Group, P.C. changed its name to «Argento & Battista, P.C.» making Attorney Battista a named partner of the firm.

Catherine «Cat» D. Battista is a partner with Argento & Battista, P.C. She represents the victims of personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect and employment discrimination.

Ms. Battista began her legal career as an assistant state’s attorney. Ms. Battista left the state’s attorney’s office to pursue a career in private practice where she achieved results for individuals in personal injury, nursing home abuse and neglect cases, medical malpractice lawsuits and other civil litigation matters. To date, Ms. Battista has obtained millions of dollars in judgments, verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Battista is recognized on the state and national level for her legal skill. She has been identified as one of the top 2.5% of young attorneys practicing in the State of Illinois for the past five consecutive years. In 2012, Ms. Battista was named by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the top 40 trial lawyers under the age of 40 in Illinois.
