Kauai Sea Tours

We went on a 5.5 hour Na Pali coast tour. If I can give anyone some advice, buy your dramamine and ginger candy or chews back home wherever you live! Ginger candy is almost $ 11 at their office and Dramamine was around $ 8. You can save yourself some money by getting it elsewhere and not waiting until the last minute. It is rough water and you will get seasick if you are sensitive to motion like I am. Luckily the Dramamine and ginger ale onboard helped and I was not sick.
There is a coupon in some of the magazines for tourists, use it! We did not see it until after we did the tour, bummer.
The positives:
–Plenty of room on the boat to move around and have a choice of places to sit.
–Great music if you get on the boat with Kapuno he has an awesome playlist on his Iphone and I want a copy of it!
–I thought the food was decent (breakfast and lunch provided). Breakfast is more like muffins and breads and donuts, don’t expect eggs and hot food.
–Amazing staff-​at every moment they were walking around asking if I needed anything, helping me on and off the boat during snorkeling, bringing me ice water, and being proactive and helpful with anyone who was seasick. I saw them chatting with many customers and we had some good conversation with a few of the staff too. They also offer to take pics for you which is nice.
–They provide you with all snorkeling gear.
–DOLPHINS!!! Spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins doing tricks for us and swimming in pods. It was magical to see!!!
–Magic Mike «Mana» is some great eye candy! He does not know that is his nickname, but he reminded me of a Magic Mike the way he slid down the wet part of the boat sliding along so smoothly. We were thinking I should take out my dollar bills.
The negative:
–I can’t blame them for the choppy water, but be prepared if you are prone to getting seasick
–Snorkeling. I have seen waayyyyyy better snorkeling just going into the ocean from the shore and seeing the variety of fish at the coral near the shore. I have snorkeled with turtles and beautiful fish of all colors. Where they take you, you see the same types of fish and only about 3 – 4 types and the reef is so down low there are not that many as high up as we were near the surface.
–No sea turtles. :(Would be nice if they took you to an area with more reefs to attract more fish and turtles.
–It is a long ride to get all the way to the Napali Coast for the beautiful view.
–Expensive.
Tips
–bring cash they deserve it with their good customer service
–wear a wind jacket if you mind rain (Kauai it can rain on and off at any time)
–bring towels, plenty of sunblock, etc.

We had a great time on their rafting tour. Our captains name was Chellin (not sure if that is spelled correctly) and his coworkers name was Noheli (again the spelling is probably wrong) went by Nono for short. They were great! The reason we chose this company is because they have a permit to land at the old Hawaiian fishing village. This is also the location that we snorkeled at. They take you on a «hike» to see the remains of the village but did tell us that the goats in the area have knocked over a lot of the rocks and destroyed some things. This area supposedly has tons of archaeologists that come here and stay for a while. Word has it their trying to live there while doing their work instead of going in and out. The «hike» is just a walk. There’s a small dirt path and you basically go in a small circle.
5 min after we left the Harbour, there were spinner dolphins which came right up to the boat. I’ve done 3 Napali tours so far (as in writing this review) and have seen them every time. I was a little disappointed that we didn’t spend a little more time with them but it was still awesome to see them up close. It’s illegal to swim with them here so you may not get into the water. We were told we might spend more time with them on the way back but we didn’t. the raft is not for the faint of heart and if you get motion sickness, stock up on Dramamine and hold on tight. We were able to enter two caves only but it was worth it. Chellin was super great at entering and exiting even with rough waters. I was impressed! He was also super knowledgable about the land and history behind certain areas. I felt safe as he navigated through the waves and could tell he definitely knew what he was doing. Nono added his background and knowledge at the fishing village and gave the snorkeling briefing before the pool was open. I highly suggest going with this company if you want to try to enter the caves. We went to the cathedrals and then turned around which isn’t the entire Napali coast but it is the stopping point of many charters especially that leave from port Allen.
Lunch was good. They have a catering company that provided roast beef, ham or turkey sandwiches, small bags of chips, drinks and fruit. All you really need to hold you over. The sandwiches were good. Be sure to mention if your a vegetarian. Snorkeling was okay, being a diver, I know the conditions always are changing and everyday is different. They did mention the day before someone saw a white tip reef shark so that’s pretty awesome. I’d be giving 5stars if we spent more times with the Dolphins and if the ride back didn’t feel so rushed. I’m sure they were ready to get back since they do the same thing everyday but i am super sore today.
They will not let you go if your pregnant, or have any major health issues, bad back, hips etc.
Overall this company was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
***tip do not bring anything u don’t want to get wet or buy a wet bag. They will provide you a giant one but if your trying to take photos with a nice camera, be very careful. The surf is unpredictable and you will get drenched more than likely. Thank you Kauai sea tours for a memorable trip

With a Captain whose name is Kauai, how could you possibly go wrong?!? For real, this Sunset Dinner Cruise (we started at 3pm and got back just after the sunset at 7:30pm) of the Na Pali Coast was hands down the best thing we splurged on during our honeymoon in Kauai. If you’re thinking of doing a cruise along this majestic coastline, do yourselves a huge favour and go with Kauai Sea Tours (KST)!
My husband and I had a phenomenal experience with them.
The Na Pali Coast speaks for itself — it’s beautiful regardless of who you go with but if you’re looking for a crew that goes the extra mile to make your time with them special and fun, we highly recommend KST. We had the BEST crew we could’ve possible asked for — Captain Kauai, Julie, Nessie, and Kai. They’re such gorgeous, fun-​loving people who keep you entertained and look after you the whole time you’re out on the water. They were constantly bringing around various drinks, both alcoholic and non, dished out dinner, made sure you were safe going up/​down stairs on more bumpy waters, and even helped carry dinner plates for guests who needed both hands to keep themselves upright and stable. Kauai is hilarious: he has great insight about the island, lots of knowledge to share, a wicked playlist, and such a fun personality. You can tell he really loves what he does. And when we spotted dolphins, he redirected the boat in their direction so we could get a close look! And the Lucky Lady is a great catamaran to go out on. It’s pretty spacious for the number of people allowed on at one time so it didn’t feel like we were packed in like sardines.
A few FYIs:
Your shoes get stored at the dock and you’re barefoot on the boat for the best traction. Given how wet things can get, definitely go barefoot!
You probably will get wet so (1) don’t wear anything fancy (2) wear things that dry fast like shorts and a tank or even better, a bathing suit (3) maybe bring a towel or a thin rain jacket. And realize that you probably won’t want to keep your bag outside with you because it’ll get soaked. Store it in the cabin.
I got pretty cold in the evening on the way back, especially since I got soaked earlier on, so I would recommend bringing a hoodie /​sweater /​jacket to wear if you get cold.
Bring cash to tip the crew, they deserve it.
Don’t drink your Mai Tai while standing at the front tip of the boat! It’s tricky and messy.
Stand at the front tip of the boat at least once cuz it’s hella fun.
Keep your eyes open for dolphins and sea turtles!
If you get sea sickness, take something for it at an hour ahead of departure and bring extra to take during the cruise. And stay away from inside the cabin and the top deck if you’re feeling it. Also, don’t even think about feeling sick! Just watch the horizon and focus on how epic everything is.

A bunch of friends and I went on the Zodiac snorkel tour with Chellen and Ryden. They are both super nice dudes and really good at what they do. I’d recommend this tour to anyone, especially if you can take it with one or both of them.

If you are going to Kauai please, please do yourself a favor and just go on the 5+ hour Na Pali Raft and Snorkel (zodiac) tour! It’s amazingly beautiful and so much fun! For at least 4 years my hubby has told me about taking one of these zodiac tours in the past and how awesome they were. So you can imagine I had big expectations and high hopes for my first trip to Kauai that this was number one on the bucket list of things to do.
We booked our tour about 4 weeks prior and especially since we knew it was going to be a holiday weekend. Their website is awesome, very informative and provides other tour infos as well.
Honestly, I cannot say enough great things about Kauai Sea Tours and how wonderful everyone was there. From the questions I had after online booking and needing to call the office to Captain Phil and his assistant Ryden. These two guys, especially Phil, and his vast knowledge of the sea, skillful expertise and overall history of the Na Pali coast was so awesome to learn about.
We booked the AM tour with a 7:15 show time. (I’d highly recommend because the weather can turn any time but mornings are usually better) Unfortunately, we had about a 50 minute late start because a group of 3 young children accompanied by 2 adults, Captian Phil and Ryden made sure to make up for their tardiness which was pretty awesome thankfully no one on board had immediate plans which required anyone to get back to shore! Our entire Raft had 14 people (4 young kids and 10 adults not including the 2 employees) and everyone had room to sit comfortably. The weather was great, water was nice and smooth and the sun was blazing!
The boat ride went by so quick even though it was over 5 hours of long you’d never guess! We saw schools of spinner dolphins, sea turtles, a nice coral reef to Snorkel in and a few pretty cool caves along with breathtaking scenery. The picnic lunch after snorkeling was a «sub» sandwich, soda/​water, fruit and a cookie. Nothing special but it hit the spot after a day on the water and being famished!
We took a ton of pictures but they don’t do justice to the tour and experience we had. Trust me, this is one tour you don’t want to miss and it lived up to the expectations and the Unilocal hype!
Things to keep in mind…
— arrive with a few minutes to spare before check-​in to sign waivers, get potty breaks in, and sunscreened up
— everyone is there to have fun, be courteous it’s 5+ hours in a cramped space (arrival time, while on board, pictures, snorkeling, etc…)
–if you’re prone to motion sickness like myself do yourself and everyone else a favor and take a Dramamine an hour prior to the Showtime
— think beach/​boat style… no hats, they will fly off, –but have sunglasses, towels, cover-​up so you won’t burn and definitely lots of sunscreen (waterproof) They offer dry bags to keep your stuff dry!
–hubby and I both loved Phil’s playlist… so if you love tunes while on the water… just ask him he’s happy to set the mood in perfect harmony!
— and font forget to tip these hard working guys! They love what they do and you can tell but a small monetary tip goes a long way for them!

Our group had a fantastic time with Chellen and Rayden! We were lucky enough to see dolphins, sea turtles, as well as some amazing scenery. Chellen’s masterful navigation of the waves and Rayden’s knowledge of the local history and landscapes made for a day we will never forget. I look forward to hopefully touring with them again soon!

I went on a zodiac tour with captains chellen and ryden, and they were awesome! We saw spinner Dolphins, tons of sea turtles, and went into a bunch of caves. Highly recommend!

These guys are fantastic. We took the raft adventure to the Na Pali coast. The raft ride isn’t for everyone, you’re sitting on the side of the raft holding on to ropes to stay in so there’s no back support and the ride can be pretty rough depending on the weather. If you can handle the ride it is well worth the trip. You get to land on the Na Pali beach, which not all tour companies can do, they take you to the ruins of an ancient Hawaiian fishing village and snorkel off the beach. Chellen (?) and Nono were our captain and crew member and they were both great as well. They were very informative and funny and made the whole experience very entertaining.

Kauai Sea Tours is a must for any visitor! Our two guides, Chellen and Ryden were the best! They were super informed and laid back and made the trip fun for everyone. The boat ride was exciting — we saw tons of dolphins and turtles and the insides of some caves on the Na Pali coast. We saw a ton of tropical fish when we went snorkeling and also had chances to swim with turtles. It was a great time, many thanks to our great guides!

I live on North Shore Oahu, have spent a ton of time in zodiacs and on the ocean. Let me tell you, I KNOW ZODIACS. This was hands down the most professional, informative, and incredible tour I’ve ever done.
My guides were Phil and Rayden. Off the bat, it felt like meeting up with old friends. They greeted us with a huge smile and hearty handshake. They were incredibly professional and accommodating. This really must be the «A crew».
Dolphins, fish, sea turtles… OH MY! We stopped whenever we saw these majestic dinosaurs of the sea. Which was A LOT. I was starting to think Phil knows all the secret spots.
I don’t even want to hit on the views. Slap me in the face and call me Bilbo Baggins, because I’m pretty sure Phil was taking us to Mordor to destroy the One Ring.
Lastly, I want to hit the music. Phil has the ULTIMATE PLAYLIST. Top Gun fan? How about threading the needle near rock cliffs with KENNY LOGGINS DANGERZONE PLAYING??? It’s like the trip was crafted to the music. It felt like I was in a movie.
This was amazing. It is a MUST DO. Phil and Rayden, hats off to you two. You are experts and professionals. Well done, Oh Captain my Captain.

We went on the zodiac raft tour with Phil and CJ, they were so awesome and so fun. It was an absolutely amazing experience. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and were looking for something adventurous and beautiful to do while we were here. This tour was our favorite part of our whole trip and our tour guides made it such a great experience. We definitely recommend this tour!

Just got home from Kauai and had a totally amazing time while there. We booked a tour on the Lucky Lady and was truly amazed at how wonderful the day turned out to be. I have to say Captain Jeff and his crew were wonderful. They made the trip fun and Tig can make one heck of a Mai Tai :). That boy deserves a raise!!! We snorkeled with Turtles, seen some amazing fish and also seen a ton of dolphins. I’ve snorkeled in plenty of waters, but must say Kauai had the clearest water of all. Thanks for one heck of a great time Jeff and Crew!!!

We had an amazing time on our adventure. The Napali Coast raft boat tour is definitely something everyone should do! Captain Chellen and Teigue were awesome, super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. I would strongly recommend taking this tour to everyone I know! I don’t know where to start. My husband and I took the Sunset Dinner cruise for our 5 year anniversary. This has to be one of the best experiences ever. Well worth it! The crew James, Kai, Kapono, Ness were amazing. Thank you guys so much! They were so welcoming. They were constantly checking to see if anyone needed anything. Not to mention the great conversations we had with them. They were awesome about taking pictures for everyone also. Food and drinks were great. But the most captivating part about the whole tours are the views. Today the sky’s weren’t the clearest but the waves were calm allowing us to see more than were the would usually stop, getting parts of the boat under some water falls, seeing inside some of the caves without getting in and even close enough to see some billy goats walking on the edges of cliffs. I am so grateful for this wonderful experience. And Kai can sing. He sang At Last for us at the end of the cruise while the sun was setting.
Btw this is a must do!
Couple tips– it is a barefoot cruise. If you like me and you’re always cold, definitely walk w/​a jacket/​shawl. If you burn easily use sunscreen. Definitely have cash for tips. Always keep a hand on the railing. And have a great time.
PS Hope you charge you batteries to take all the unforgettable sceneries you’ll see!

Dopest Napali coast sea tour ever! The Captain and his crew were all so nice and fun!.. And not bad to look at either! My cousin and I chose this tour because of Top 10 Things to do in Kauai list… And boy were they right! Captain Kauai was awesome! He got us up close to Dolphins and Whales! He played some great tunes and knows A LOT about the island and the Hawaiian culture! It was a gorgeous day, even better sunset, and we learned a lot about the culture! I got a tiny bit queezy. But the Captain was so considerate and went above and beyond to help those that were barfing their guys out! The crew was so helpful. They were there to get you anything you needed… Wether it was water, a mai tai, or a puke bucket! Amazing people, amazing tour, definitely a memory we will never forget! When we come back.
We are definitely taking this tour again!

We just got back from Kauai and I had to write a review about the awesome sunset dinner cruise we went on with Kauai Sea Tours on their catamaran, Lucky Lady. We were originally scheduled for a Wednesday — I called the office in the morning to confirm that the weather conditions would still allow the boat to go to the Na Pali as planned, and Jesse in the office was super helpful and said she would call me back once she heard from the Captain. She called us back around 11am to let us know that the ocean conditions didn’t permit a Na Pali trip and said the boat would be doing a Southern Shore sail instead. She offered to reschedule us to Friday, when the forecast looked more promising.
Friday comes along and we were very fortunate to have great ocean conditions, especially for January. Captain Kauai and his crew Kai, CJ and Nessi were all friendly and were very attentive to the needs of everyone on board. They were always fetching drinks for passengers, snapping pics, or just chatting it up with passengers. During dinner service, they helped carry plates of food for some passengers that really needed both hands to remain standing while making it back to their seats. Something about locals manning the boat makes the whole experience a bit more authentic as well. Captain Kauai was a great guide. His style is more story telling, giving us background, history and the point of view of a Kauai native, versus just pointing things out tour guide style.
Heading up to the Na Pali, Captain Kauai was always willing to stop and diverge from our course to check out nearby whales. We saw plenty of whale spouts, fins and tails, but the full breach up close next to the boat remained elusive. Once at the Na Pali, Captain Kauai’s boat handling skills were on full display. I’ve done the zodiac raft tours in the past and they always talk crap about how the catamarans can’t get close to the shore. Let’s just say Captain Kauai put the Lucky Lady much closer to the rocks than I thought possible. He was able to get half the boat into some of the sea caves, and he put the honeymooners under the sea cave waterfall thing that someone else mentioned in their review (honeymooners were us).
On the way back to Port Allen, dinner was served and we saw more whales. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see any turtles or dolphins up close but that’s just nature goes sometimes. We were treated to an amazing sunset with Ni’ihau as a backdrop off the starboard side of the boat, and at the same time, an amazing moon rise off the port side. The Lucky Lady was the first boat out of Port Allen that afternoon, and was one of the last boats in. Highly recommend these guys!
Note: if you plan to hang out on the main deck, you will get wet. Swimwear and a beach towel are recommended. Front of the boat gets soaked. The only dry spots are inside the cabin, where seasickness is the worst, and the upper deck.

Beim Kaufen einer Schnorchelmaske haben wir gleich mal eine Tour zur weltberühmten Na Pali Küste gebucht — auf einem Zodiac. Katamaran kann ja jeder. Und man hatte uns versichert, dass man mit dem Schlauchboot mehr sieht, weil es in die Höhlen fahren kann und weil es außerdem sogar eine Landung an einem einsamen Strand gibt.
Preislich lag das ganze für einen Halbtagesausflug bei ca. 120 Dollar pro Person inkl. Getränke und Mittagssnack.
Morgens ging es schon zu unchristlichen Zeiten los, leider führte uns das Navi zwar auf die richtige Straße, aber auf den falschen Parkplatz. Das Geschäft von Kauai Sea Tours ist nicht so leicht zu finden — zumal sich auf der Waialo Road auch etliche andere Anbieter befinden, zu denen morgens um 6 Heerscharen von Touristen pilgern. Lieber gleich jemanden nach dem Weg fragen, da es sonst knapp wird… Auf Nachzügler wird trotzdem mit einer Engelsgeduld gewartet.
Zunächst einmal muss man unter ein paar Warnhinweise seinen Otto setzen, wie überall bei solchen Touren. Dann geht es schon los. Die Teilnehmer der Tour werden in Gruppen aufgeteilt, jeder erhält seinen eigenen Kapitän und Tourguide.
Die beiden erklären dann beim Austeilen wasserfester Seesäcke, wie man diese verwendet und dann geht es auch schon los auf das Schlauchboot. Wir wurden gewarnt, dass man vorne mehr nass wird, das kann ich nicht bestätigen. Nun hat man die Qual der Wahl, sich für einen Sitzplatz auf dem Rand des Zodiacs zu entscheiden:
Für vorne spricht, dass man in der Nähe des Guides sitzt und so natürlich viele Infos unterwegs erhält, die man hinten durch den Fahrtwind gar nicht mehr ankommen. Dagegen spricht, dass man vorne ganz schön Muckis braucht, um sich an den Seilen festzuhalten, denn der Seegang ist auf dem offenen Meer nicht ohne, auch wenn sich unser Kapitän bemüht hat, nicht in jedes Wellental zu brettern. Ich kann euch aber verraten, dass es anstrengender ist, als man meint, sich zwei Stunden festzuklammern — aber wenn man, wie wir unterwegs noch Delphine (spinner dolphins) sieht, dann lohnt sich auch der anschließende Muskelkater in den Fingern. Nicht zu vergessen den im Popo.
Der Anblick, der sich einem bietet ist unbeschreiblich und den kann man auch nur vom Wasser oder vom Helikopter aus bekommen. Unzählige Filme haben diese atemberaubende Kulisse genutzt und tatsächlich, wenn man es weiß, dann achtet man verstärkt darauf. Fluch der Karibik (Fremde Gezeiten), Jurassic World, Tropic Thunder…
Wir fuhren auch in eine Höhle, in der die R&B Sängerin Mary J. Blige ihr Video «Everything» gedreht hat, was mir persönlich sehr gefallen hat. Also Lied und Höhle :)
Unser Guide, Jordan, hat jede Menge interessantes Wissen beigesteuert.
An einem verlassenen Dorf haben wir halt gemacht, man wird dabei ein bisschen nass, aber eigentlich sollte man eh die Badesachen an haben. An einem Unterstand bekamen wir dann Sandwiches, Softdrinks, Chips und Cookies und dann ging es zur Führung in das Dorf, von dem eigentlich nicht mehr viel übrig ist. Aber allein die Vorstellung, dass hier ein Völkchen völlig abgeschnitten von der Außenwelt gelebt hat, ist aber irre.
Man macht auch Bekanntschaft mit der Noni, einer entsetzlich stinkenden Frucht, die überall von den Bäumen fällt, der die Hawaiianer aber heilsame Kräfte nachsagen. Mutige können auch mal hineinbeißen. Unser Tourguide hat das natürlich ungerührt gemacht.
Anschließend geht es wieder zurück, am besten wechselt man nun die Bootsseite, sonst gibt es einseitige Schmerzen im Hinterteil.
Der Tag war zwar streng getaktet, aber im für Hawaii typischen easy-​going Modus, unser Team von Kauai Sea Tours verbreitete blendende Laune und war umgänglich und locker.
Ich würde diese Tour glatt noch einmal machen, kann es nur empfehlen, vor allem auch im Gegensatz zu den langweiligeren Katamaran-​Touren.
Eincremen nicht vergessen!

I absolutely loved this tour! Greg the Captain and Guide CJ were rad and friendly. They are not joking when they warn you in the beginning that you should not take the raft tour if you have any injuries or back issues. It can get pretty bumpy and rough, but so worth it! Even though my butt is sore, I wouldn’t trade the experience for a catamaran trip. You get to see so much more and if you pay close enough attention to the waves and anticipate the bumps, it’s so fun! The snorkeling was ok, but I think I’ve been heavily spoiled when it comes to amazing snorkeling. This of course, is unpredictable, like seeing dolphins/​turtles/​whales/​etc. and not the tours fault (unfair that some people take points off for such things, as if it’s possible to control the ocean and sealife). The whole experience was great! Thank you to Kauai Sea Tours, Captain Greg, and CJ!
Also, don’t forget to leave a tip, please. It’s the right thing to do!

Four stars for the great crew of the Lucky Lady on our adventure to the Nā Pali coast. My wife and I booked the morning cruise to the coast through our resort. We arrived at their shop in Port Allen right on time as requested at 645am. Park just down from there in their well signed dirt lot.
After our introductory and safety talk, our group of twenty or so were escorted down to the Catamaran for boarding. We were underway by 8am and immediately saw dolphins playing in the small harbor. We ended up encountering dolphins four more times on our trip along with some random turtles here and there. No sharks seen for you North Carolinians trying to escape all the goings on back home.
The trip up took two hours with plenty of commentary from the super extroverted Captain Kauai. I guess he was named after the island or vice versa. He filled us in on what we were seeing on shore along with some of the history of Hawaii. As the trip progressed, the scenery just kept getting better and better.
Pictures don’t do the coast justice up there. Simply spectacular. There was plenty of time to take dozens of photos before turning around to head back. While up there, our Captain found a sea cave and inched the ship in there to soak some newlyweds standing at the bow from an overhead waterfall. Plenty of laughs with just a hint of danger as we were pretty close to the rocks at times.
The return was hammer down to get back on time. A sandwich lunch bar was opened along with drinks from the bar. We did stop about halfway on the way back for some snorkeling. It was pleasant getting into the water on such a warm and humid day but I only saw four types of fish and those were all hanging around the boat near the surface. Don’t take this tour if your main objective is to snorkel.
I found the crew of the Lucky Lady to be the best. They were very entertaining, always checking up on the passengers to make them comfortable, talking to everyone sharing stories and genuinely trying to make everyone’s trip the best it could be.

My husband and I took the NaPali Coast cruise with Captain Kauai and his crew and we had a super fantastic time.
First and foremost, the Na Pail Coast scenery was absolutely breathtaking, not to mention the dolphins and sea turtles swimming alongside the catamaran. Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters was pretty amazing as well. Capt Kauai made sure everyone received some great background information about the island and all its’ history. There was plenty of seating around the catamaran, although I highly recommend standing by the front of the boat just to feel see all the sights and feel the wind blowing through your hair… you can also re-​enact the whole Titanic moment, if you’d like. To top it off, we ate (sandwiches, pasta salad, cookies, etc) and drank (delicious beers) to our heart’s content.
I highly recommend Kauai Sea Tours to anyone visiting Kauai — it’s a wonderful way to start off your day and a fantastic way to tour the coast. Last but not least, bring your underwater camera for some awesome shots!

Great staff (Captain Jeff), very friendly and knowledgeable. We took the morning catamaran ride up Na Pali in early September and saw dozens of dolphins and a few turtles. They definitely knew where to look for them. On the negative, most of the time was spent on the catamaran and only about 30 minutes actually stopped for snorkeling. We went with our 4 year old, who loved it (everyone was very accommodating with her), but it was a bit expensive as far as boat rides go.
