I had dabbled in photography through the years, but nothing serious. My wife of 2 years and I had our daughter, Zoe in July of 2014 and she was celebrating her first christmas. Being new parents on a budget we opted to make our own Christmas card to send out to our families. The image turned out exactly, if not better, than planned and was what I consider to be my first professional photograph.

In May of 2015 my family and I were on a road trip and my wife and I were making small talk while Zoe slept in the back seat, like the little angel she is. To start a new conversation my wife asked me the question that, unknowingly, would change my life ‚“What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?” My answer: «Newborn Photography». To me photographing newborns is the macro photography of people. You get in close to see all those adorable little features. And giving someone a photograph that they will cherish for a lifetime seemed like a pretty good gig.
