My wife and I were out in Weedsport at a local small brewery and were craving Mexican BADLY. Naturally, I came to Unilocal, and as usual, I was not disappointed. Tres Primos was only a couple miles away in Elbridge. Parking lot seemed pretty full… usually a good sign. We were sat right away when we walked in, at a table right by the front door. Pretty cold on a January night, but the dining room of the very small restaurant was completely full. Only maybe 10 tables in the entire place. Nice bar in the dining room. My wife and I looked over the menu and everything looked great. Chips and salsa were served as usual for most Mexican places. Good, slightly spicy salsa. I ordered the chimichangas with beef tips and my wife went for the Primo special, a burrito stuffed with chicken and chorizo covered in a queso sauce. Food was cooked and brought quickly. Everything was DELICIOUS. My chimichangas were great, chunks of flavorful beef tips inside, smothered in mole and queso sauces. Great flavor for the Spanish rice. I pass on refried beans. My wife’s dish was also very tasty and she was very pleased as well… high praise, she’s hard to please when it comes to Mexican fare. Prices were reasonable and comparable to similar restaurants. Service was friendly, and for the most part, fast. While it’s a small restaurant, they also have a small staff, and there were only two servers who were running back and forth constantly. I don’t think I saw either of them stop the entire time I was there, so their timing wasn’t bad at all, considering the circumstances. Unexpectedly good. It’s the last place we expected to find good Mexican food, out in Elbridge next to a trailer park, but it impressed us and we’ll definitely go back if we’re in the area.

Absolutely AMAZING! Walked in to very attentive service and completely clean everywhere. Floors, windows, walls, and bathroom= clean. Wonderful chips and salsa. Huge portions and we weren’t rushed by the waiter at all. He was very patient and helped us pick out new items. Flan was perfection. I completely recommend. Best Mexican in Syracuse.

DON’ T MISSTHISGEMINELBRIDGE! It is more than worth the drive! Absolutely incredible authentic Mexican food! Huge portions, cold beer, just enough spice, melt in your mouth flan, exceptional service. Yummy margaritas, tomatillo sauce — off the rails, try the Enchiladas Rancheros, you won’t regret anything you get. We are going back tomorrow, cant wait!

Run, don’t walk — to Tres Primos in Elbridge, it’s off the hook awesome! The food is excellent, portions, more than generous, the place is clean as a whistle! From the spicy chips and salsa, to a huge platter of nachos, creamy refried beans, hot tomatillo sauce over a delicious chicken burrito, you will only regret that you don’t have room for more. But wait ! Full as I was, I made room for the most delicious flan I have ever had. The service is wonderful, Los Primos son buenos ! Gracias! We are going back tomorrow, I can’t wait!

The food was absolutely delicious here! My husband and I went on a Friday night so there was a little bit of a wait. The owner serves you drinks while you wait. As busy as it was, the food came out extremely quick. I definitely recommend the chimichangas. You can tell that this is a family run restaurant. There wasn’t a ton of staff but those that were here were great. More than worth the 20 minute drive!

Great experience! Mexican done right! Hot plates, chips and salsa, great friendly, relaxing atmosphere. I am so thankful for this place and cant wait to get back. The Chili Poblano was fantastic as was the chicken enchilada. I lived in California for a few years and truly missed good Mexican food and now I have this! What a pleasure.

Nice little Mexican restaurant located between Elbridge and Camillus. Fresh ingredients, warm chips and Lots of veggie dishes. Also, if you like spicy, try a side of their really hot sauce. It’s got a great kick. Definitely wash it down with a Modela Negra. Try and leave some room for the desert, «Xangos».

Very tasty. Just what I dream of in a mexican place. We ordered shrimp tacos, taco salad, and fried cheesecake. My boyfriend loved the shrimp. The fried cheese cake was delicious, and have been searching for literally 7 years for a taco salad to rival my favorite place in CT, and I FINALLY found it. My only complaint is that the beef for the taco salad was a little too salty for me. Easily fixed with some sour cream. Overall a great place. Definitely will be back for more!

The wife and I decided to try this out and boy am I glad that we did. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who lives in or is driving through the Jordan/Elbridge area. Best Mexican food I’ve had to date in the Syracuse area.
