What a whimsical place to explore! It’s a park-like setting with a variety of sculptures made out of recycled iron. The gift shop feels like an art gallery. My bestie and I spent about an hour and half walking around and taking photos of the pieces. Loved the giant giraffe, trains and horses. The owner and artist is really talented.

I have lived in the Ashford/Alder/Eatonville area for my whole life and so have known about this park since it opened but only finally stopped this last weekend. I’ve worked at Mount Rainier as well before in the gift shops and I would say this is not only a worthy stop along the way to the Mountain or anywhere else in the area, it’s also got the most original and beautiful custom gifts to take home that you won’t find anywhere. I have to say, if you’re looking for a souvenier to take home that isn’t a pakistan made ceramic with Mt Rainier stamped on it, this is the shop to stop at. I also love their staging and groupings of products. They’re funny, quirky, artistic, and fun for the whole family. Plus, there’s picnic tables to enjoy a fun lunch at if you happen to have a picnic.

Recycled spirits of iron is more than a metal sculpture park. It’s fun, funny, artistic, creative, provoking and just great stuff. Don’t miss it.

Awesome! A must see when visiting Mt. Rainier. The work is so creative and amazing. A metal fish with scales made of horseshoes!!! And it’s free.
