Completely professional! Worked around our schedule, was on time, followed up, flexible with payment, weekend rates extremely reasonable and very kind. Would recommend and will be my go to plumbing company. Family operated with ethics! You won’t be disappointed.

Christmas Day and the overflow pops open on the side of the house — awesome (not!) We managed to get through our celebration without the use of running water. The next day, we called a lot of places and felt super lucky to have Nasir come out. He was responsive, as accommodating as possible, nice (which counts!), and got us cleared out and back in the game within the hour. He could have charged us an arm and a leg but didn’t. Just really appreciated his attitude and friendly manner while we were stressing out. We made it to the next family gathering right on time — amazing! Keeping his card and using him for any future plumbing needs.

One really can’t go wrong with Nasir. He goes above and beyond to get a job done reasonably, on time, with great skill and with excellent communication throughout the process. In addition to the superior service he provides, he is also incredibly nice and trustworthy. Our latest job involved a bathroom remodel and required moving a toilet to a new location (not an easy task), moving pipes and fixing some existing leaking pipes. Nasir was incredibly flexible and willing to work around my constantly changing schedule while I was coordinating the work of different contractors coming in to do various jobs. He even came by on a weekend to get the last plumbing jobs completed in the end. Of the many contractors I worked with during the process of the remodel, Nasir was by far the one who was most affordable, responsible, and reliable. You would be hard pressed to find a better plumber out there. I can unreservedly recommend him.

I don’t normally write reviews except this company’s service was so extraordinary I have to comment. It begins with a minor toilet leak we discovered earlier in the week. I called the company on Friday. They were booked solid through Saturday but the gentleman (whose name I now know is Nasir) said he would drop by on Sunday around 10:00AM. SUNDAY? What service!!! And he actually arrived early. The leak required only a minor fix and he ONLY asked for $ 20…totally unheard of in this business… and for a Sunday call to boot!
This story is less about the actual repair work and more about the company’s integrity, honesty and reliability. Thank you PD&RS. We will know who to call the next time we have a plumbing issue.

Yikes started this review months ago and just saw I never posted… Back in the fall, noticed sludge coming up through the laundry tub drain on Saturday and Sunday around noon, we were back in business, thanks to Nasir. Our regular plumber doesn’t do pipes and recommended Nasir. Clearly she’d recommended one of the best after looking at the reviews. I called him and within a few minutes he gave an opinion on what he thought the issue might be and committed to coming out the next day (Sunday). He was prompt, polite, expedient and of course absolutely spot on with diagnosis.
(Pipe had buildup over the years, and there’s a slight flat spot leading into the laundry tub, which is where the backup from dishwasher, garbage disposal etc was going.) Asked him if we should just have it done as part of regular maintenance and appreciated when he said ‘no’, just call (and he didn’t expect given we’d never had the issue before to hear from us for a long time in the future.
Would highly recommend. Hopefully don’t need a plumber again… but if I do, will not hesitate to call Nasir.

Sewer back up — every year the roots from a tree grow into the sewer pipes. I went on Unilocal to find a reputable company, and found Pacific Drain & Rooter Service. I now can see why there are so many 5 star reviews. These folks are honest, forthright and professional. It is a family business and I felt like I was being cared for by good folks. Nasir and his father, Nasim, showed up and in no time had the job done. I was charged a reasonable rate for the work ($ 100.) and I only wish they did handyman stuff as well as fixed cars. I trusted them. I highly recommend this company.

This is my second review for Pacific Drain and Rooter Service.
My water heater was leaking and I call to make an appointment with Pacific Drain.
On the phone i was told I probably would need a new heater and we discussed the price.
I had to work that day, left the key for them.
When I got home my old water heater was there with a note to call. (I don’t use a cell phone when i am at work.) I called expecting the worse — you not only need a new water heater BUT new –bla bla bla.
To my surprise I was told I did not need a new water heater, but only a new valve, they would return with the new valve, drain my heater and put the valve in.
The total price including labor $ 100.
There more.
My water heater is on a tiny back room used for nothing but the heater and washer and dryer. For years for some reason I never have cleaned it.
When I returned home from work the day they put the new valve in, to my surprise they mopped the floor. It was like a got a new room in my house. The floor was sparkling!
The plumbers i used in the past never even cleaned their own mess, let alone mine.
It is so nice to have a plumber that you trust; I am from New York and in I think it it a little harder for us to trust people.

It is refreshing to call a company and for them to tell you that you can repair the item yourself. I’m glad that he has faith in me… We will see what I will be able to do with an allen wrench and a garbage disposal. He said that he would be available if I was not able to fix it. I will definitely be calling them back when the next plumbing problem arises!

I consider myself a strong, capable, intelligent, problem solving person. So does my wife. But when we started trying to change the faucet in our bathroom, the issues that we ran into nearly had us both in tears. Nasir to the rescue! Super flexible and friendly, Nasir gave us money saving tips along with a bathroom that worked again. So glad to have met him… we are never mucking with plumbing again – we’re just calling Nasir!

We called Pacific Drain & Rooter after our ancient water shutoff valve broke off in my husband’s hand. Nasir came out within a few days (after ascertaining this wasn’t an urgent call), sized up the damage and gave us a quote; then came back a few days later to put in a replacement for less than his original estimate. We will definitely be using these guys again. Thanks!

Update: Pacific Drain did a great job on my toilet in June 2014 — they responded quickly, fixed the problem in five minutes and charged a VERY reasonable fee. Then, a couple of weeks ago (July 2015), my kitchen sink started leaking badly. Just like always, Pacific Drain responded quickly, did a great job on the sink, and charged a reasonable amount. Also, these guys have a great attitude, which is nice when someone is working in your home!

I called yesterday due to a leaking main water valve and had to leave a message. I got a call back within an hour and I was able to schedule an appointment for this afternoon. Nasir came by when he said he would, checked out the issue and simply tightened the valve without charge! I appreciate his professionalism and generosity, especially at 5:30 pm on a Friday night. If we need a plumber in the future, we know to call on him! Thanks, Nasir!

It’s been about 3 years since our sewer was last cleaned out. We live on a hillside with lots of trees and vegetation and have had the sewer clogged with a toilet back up many years ago. Since then, we’ve tried to keep it maintained on a regular basis. I’ve been worrying about it lately and called Nasir to come out for a preventive maintenance. He’s a busy busy guy and couldn’t come out right away but it wasn’t an emergency. Once his schedule freed up and his partner could help carry the equipment down the hill, he did the job efficiently and professionally. Super nice guy!

When my drain backed up into my tub, I called my friend’s husband who is a plumber and he highly recommended a local guy who works on drain pipes but he was on vacation, however, his voicemail recommended PACIFIC DRAIN & ROOTER SERVICE and I’m sure glad he did because these guys were great! My plumbing odessy ended when they arrived — Nazir was very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and easy to work with. I would definately use their services again without reservation. Hassle-​free, professional, and fair prices.

Update: so we actually won’t be fixing the problem because we will be moving soon. Nasir would’ve been my guy though.
So far so good! I called about low water pressure in my bathroom. Nasir came out Monday to check it out. Clearly explained the problem and showed me and gave me some honest options.
Planning to hire him for the project shortly. Will update.

The best thing about Nasir, besides his knowledge, experience and skill as a plumber is his attitude. He is positive and always finds a way to get the job done. I have worked with him for over 10 years and he has always done what he said he would

I chose Pacific Drain & Rooter Service because they had 22 reviews and they were all 5 stars. Not only that, but everybody said they came out either that day or the next day. That’s exactly what I’m looking for in a service professional.
I called at 7AM and he said he was busy but would come out first thing the next day. However, Nasir called me back at noon and said he had a half hour and would come out right away… talk about service!!!

My plumbing went out literally on the night my daughter came out to visit for a week from the east coast. I had a plumber there the next day and he cleared the clog but said it would clog again if I used toilet paper! He said I would probably have to change the pipe and that he would come back next week to photograph the inside of the pipe. He was right about one thing — the toilet did clog again. Since I had an important house guest and could not wait til the following week I tried to get a different plumber in.
Fortunately I got Nazim and Nazir who were recommended to me by another plumber. They fixed the problem for $ 100. Nazim explained that sometimes tree roots will clog up your pipes and unscrupulous plumbers invent an elaborate ruse to get you to replace the pipe. Big expensive job. All you need to do is put the right attachment on your rooting tool and it will clear out the tree roots. After that you are good to go for another 5 or 6 years which is how long it will take for another tree root incursion.
I would (and will) recommend Pacific Drain Inc to friends and family in need of a reasonable and honest plumber.

We had a kitchen facet issue and I was having trouble finding a plumber who would come to my area in a timely manner. Another plumber highly recommended Nazim.
I called Nazim and he came over the next day. He was very friendly, polite, and personable.
He was efficient in fixing my facet issue and cleaned up after he was done.
If I have any plumbing issues in the future I will be calling Nazim.
