I know the owners of this restaurant. But wanted to go to the proper channels to let them know how I was treated a week ago on Friday I was hung up on I just asked if someone their new menu so they can helping out with making my order I got zero help everything I asked for she said they didn’t make any more everything that I asked for I normally get on a regular basis. I was trying to help The owners of this business letting them know how some of the regular consumers that order from this restaurant are being treated. I understand if you’re new you may not have all the information it’s OK I don’t hang up on people that order on a regular basis. I will never order from this time restaurant again sadly enough and I love the owners of this restaurant, However the stuff I could care less about because I just spoke to Jason on the phone today asking if the owners were given my message and he said yes everybody is nice here and then he hung up on me. I will be surprised at this restaurant lasts because with that type of employees running the restaurant I can’t imagine many people ordering from them again I would hope that the owners recognize and read customers and consumers posts on their Unilocal.Tip Brandy I love you guys but your employees that are running your restaurants are not nice and I refuse to work and order from someplace that hangs up on me on a regular basis this was the second time that I was hung up on and I have no time for that there’s another restaurant out there that can give me great Thai food and great service at the same time. Wanda Jackson David Goldbach. David is invested too much in your friendship to reach out to you directly to call you guys to share this information so I am posting it myself on your Unilocal review I hope you read it and I hope you take action and I hope you were call and call us back. This is the only way that I’ll know that you actually received this message and this concern good luck with your business. You can call me directly 310−980−3084

I really enjoy take out from this place. Big fan of the Pad Thai Noodle and Tom Kah Kai Soup!

Love this place, been going here for years! Always get the pad kee mow and they make it as insanely spicy as I like it Always kind and hospitable owners and workers. Definitely the best Thai food in El Segundo

Third time I’ve been here and still no line to get in or be seated. Attention is prompt and so is the service. The wait to get your order, drink, food and then your check is never long. So far… Had the green curry beef lunch special which was good. After the salad and the soup I really couldn’t finish the beef and the rice. I could if I really tried but they give you enough to have a satisfied stomach. This restaurant is part of a center that has their own small parking lot and though the lot seems small, I’ve never had a problem finding a spot.

I had been coming here on a regular basis for a number of years and had stopped for a while. I came back today and it seems like it’s under new ownership and the service is TERRIBLE! It took forever for them to take my order and even longer to bring it out. I come for lunch and waiting this long is unacceptable. I don’t think I’ll be coming back again regardless of the food quality.

the food is good but they need to work on the customer service. each time i come here, the food we order would come 20 minutes after the first plate comes out. We never get greeted and we have to ask to see a menu.

Great place for a quick lunch. Great menu selection for $ 8.50 price point. Includes salad and soup in the meal. I got the green chicken curry. I found it to be very flavorful. And I was also able to order Brown rice. Parking during lunch time is somewhat a challenge.

Pros: + Yummy Yellow Curry Chicken + Eggcellent Egg Roll heh heh + Good Service Cons: — Fried Rice Had the Yellow Curry Chicken dinner special and thought it was pretty dang good. It came with fried rice, salad, an and an egg roll. The chicken came with potatoes. The curry saved the dish because the rice was bland, but I poured some curry on it and it made it tasty. Really liked the egg roll. The server was very polite. One thing that was kind of funny was their music. They had a playlist of 90s boy bands. If you like thai food, Savage Garden, and the Backstreet Boys this place is for you!

Not EW but definitely EH. I was underwhelmed by the food and the service. The smells and flavors of Thai food are usually so enticing. Customarily, service at Thai restaurants is very friendly. I ate there and I didn’t die. There, I have reviewed Siam Bay Thai Cuisine.

Only ordered here once, but I probably won’t again. Worst peanut sauce I’ve ever had. Service was fast, but the food was pretty terrible. Verging on inedible.

Rip off. Ordered the large of the tom yum soup($ 8) and the mixed vegetable dish with rice($ 8). Both of these were the smallest portions. In addition, the soup was ALL broth. There were 3 pieces of chicken and a few mushrooms. The soup container was small as well. The mixed vegetable dish was a joke. The minimal veggies given were swimming in oil. Never again. Slow service. You have people watching movies in the back and some guy sitting at the cash register on his phone. Thai tea tasted water downed. I ordered the shrimp salad and the eggplant lovers with shrimp. Asked for very spicy, and the food was not one bit spicy. My boyfriend ordered the yellow curry with shrimp and it didn’t taste good at all. The steam rice also looked old, it looked like an off white. I’ll stick to eating at Thai on Main in Seal Beach.

On a scale of 1 – 10, I give it a 2.5. The picture below is their rendition of Drunken Noodle. Pros: mildly spicy, plenty of onions and peppers. Cons: beef is rubbery, flavor is bland, and they’re skimpy on the meat they do add. The worst part: at the bottom of the pile is a bed of COOKED iceberg lettuce? Like, WTF? Randomness. Food non-sequitur. Smdh. Not likely to return.

This is my first and last time ordering from Siam Bay Thai Cuisine. I ordered garlic pepper chicken. The menu states it is «garlic and white pepper in black bean sauce with cabbage, celery, squash, and bean sprout». Mine came with some garlic, but no pepper at all, very bland. As far as the vegetables go, mine came only with cooked iceberg lettuce, which was very unpleasant. The sauce was just brown water. The steamed white rice was fine. I also ordered thai egg rolls. The flavor was okay, but the filling was like pureed vegetables, just squishy gross mess. My boyfriend also did not really enjoy his Pad See Ew. The food was on time, at least.

So I’ve only had take out and their pad see Ew with chicken is delicious. I ordered it with a little spice and it was perfect. I’m only giving 3 stars because I think the other dishes are very hit or miss. For example my friend ordered the kung pao chicken which is really cooked in a sweet and sour sauce and is not spicy at all. Also it came with 4 pieces of chicken. I mean, I told him not to order Chinese food from a Thai place but if they are serving it on their menu it shouldn’t be so different from the real thing. And the skimping on the chicken is unacceptable.

I’ve only tried take out and their food is ok to good. Only thing that needs real and immediate improvement is the rice. It’s extremely mushy and pasty — I understand there is some time from restaurant to home where the hot rice is insulated in the take out box but I couldn’t eat it at all. I would like to say that they totally redeemed themselves recently. My sister did not pay any attention to her receipt and ended up paying $ 9 more than she should(because they manually add up the amounts). On next visit, we had the food delivered and showed him the previous receipt and incorrect math. He gave me $ 12 on the spot and apologized for the inconvenience. When I called the order in, the person I spoke to was also very apologetic and sincerely wanted to make everything right. They couldn’t find their end of the receipt but said the delivery guy would make it right. And they did! Also, love that I can get a free Thai iced tea with every order since they always have coupons for it. Convenient, affordable, nice people, good food and next to a Cold Stone! A perfect night in.

Best thing on their menu is the steamed rice & Thai tea. Horrible service, poor quality food and the mgr insisted to me his food was good after serving me burnt egg rolls, cold soup w two old shrimps and a server who only knew how to say sorry and thank you. Been here about 5 times now, I’m fooled each time thinking the cuisine will get better. No a few more miles to Ayara. As a Chef and a frequent traveler to Thailand, I can honestly say the food is barely mediocre. They only stay in business because they may be the only Thai spot in El Segundo or people just don’t there’s much better Thai food nearby. This place is just horrible! !!!

Definitely not the best Thai by a mile BUT their BBQ is above average. I love their salad dressing and their pinkish fried rice. Thai iced tea is the best I’ve had. Their curries are below average though so stay away from those. I did like that the massaman had browned whole peanuts in it. Noodles are just okay. It’s the only Thai within walking distance and I am glad to have at least this option!

I got the chicken yellow curry special, and there were just so many things wrong with it. Watery curry, undercooked potatoes, small portions, chicken that didn’t taste like it had absorbed any of the curry… just blech. My boyfriend got the pad thai, and while the portion was right, it was too greasy for my taste. Still…the worst Thai food is still usually edible, because Thai flavors are just so damn good. The place was eerily empty on a Thursday night — it was just us and a couple creepy potheads. I felt sort of bad for the waitress, who was perfectly nice but had to stand by and wait on them. Service was friendly but not overly attentive. Not a place I’d go again.

Went here to pick up lunch for the office and was really impressed! Glass noodle salad was scrumptious! It had a kick to it, but I like a bit more heat. Customer service was amazing! They even recommended Thai restaurants for me to try closer to where I live in West LA. How awesome is that?! I’ll definitely be back — with a request to make my noodles spicier. :)
